Powercolor R9 295X2 Devil 13 Preview

This thing is a tank and will probably get as warm as said tank on fire.
Either way I can't wait to see this in action. I hope they'll release a version with a block as powercolor do sell a 290x with a block.

Can't wait to see you tear off this biatchzz panties and slot it home for some 4K benches.

4x 8pin!!! What!!

am i right in thinking thats 175W per socket giving an available power of 700W for one card?

And thats a beast of a card, like how you get that mouse though :)

Looking at all those fins, and thinking of how much heat is going to come off that card; you are going to need good airflow through your case. Just looking at the power connections is a trip. 4x8 pin. Really wonder how its going to look in a rig. Guess you need that 1200i just to run that single card.

Positives, bet it heats my office up in winter

It is a very interesting card to see the least. With the problems AMD had cooling the stock 290X and resorting to water cooling for the Dual GPU variant, Powercolor must be using some real engineering magic to keep this thing cool.

I will be awaiting the full review with interest.

Im assuming that this will perform worse than the stock one, and if I'm correct then I really see no point in this card. I cant imagine how it can beat an AIO...

In theory it should be faster, it does have faster memory speeds after all.

Provided the cooler stops it from throttling it should be better. I guess we will see.

I guess its a "Go Big, or Go Home" thing.Tom, if you could? Show how many watts your pulling out of the wall while testing.Just to compare with my R9 295X2.Inquiring minds would like to know.

I bet that this air cooled 295x2 will still beat titan z which probably costs more than double of this 295x2.

Hopefullt its gonna be really good. I can just imagine Tom laughing at us right now :P

Something tells me that the 4 8-pin power connectors are a hint to something special. It would be funny if this card overclocked better and mantained better temps that the stock 295x2 with aio

I got a funny felling that this card is gonna surprise a few people me included

I've remained quiet so far but I do believe this fat card will surprise all, you only have to look at the amount of workmanship and effort that's gone into it.
