Powercolor 290x affecting sound panel

Hey all,

Just switched my my nvidia 560ti to AMD 290x. I often switch between using my headphones and speakers and since switching to the 290x, i find it takes forever to load the windows sound panel. Anyone got this problem/ a fix?

Have you tried disabling the 290 as an audio device?
