Can i run this rig with power supply Cooler master elite 500w : Gigabyte H67a-ud3h / Intel core i3 2100 / Sapphire hd 5830 / OCZ special ops 4gb / Western digital caviar black ( boot and storage) with 100% utilization ?

Yeh shouldn't be a problem, if you don't already have the PSU i'd maybe look at a corsair 520W i've had one in my rig for 4 years and it's still going strong!

Aye I'd say you should be fine. The i3 2100 even has a low-ish power draw of only 65W so I can't see any reason why not.

The wattage seems enough for that GPU although it never hurts to have a bit more as PSU's do degrade over time.

You've checked that it has all the connectors you'll need for the CPU and GPU?

Any reason your going for a H67 over a P67 mobo though? Linus explains why I ask in the first 30 sec of this video although I admittedly don't know what you need for overclocking a 2100 :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KATlMQiq-_Y

H67's and P67's are about the same price but a P67 might give you better upgrade options later although with the H67 board you could use the graphics card elsewhere if you wanted and you still have a working rig.

you might just want to check the amps on the 12 volt rail if the GPU requires PCI-e power inputs as i had this problem and the GPU would not work i now have 53Amps on 12V rail anything above 30Amps i would say

The GPU you have requites 2 PCI-e's and i think your PSU only has one so you would need to use a converter and it also only offers 18Amps on 12 volt rail it might run but you might get issues when over-clocking

but u can try

NO im not overclocking thats why i am going to get a h67 board and any way the i3 2100 is a locked clock you cant overclock and dont want to overclock the gpu!
