Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

ready for the new motor in september....
LC43ld5.jpg

the new car will a 2019 Mercedes A250 AMG (in white)

The old/current A-class is pretty bad.

very bad
plastic interior
poor traction
small boot
no legroom in the back seats
no headroom for a driver that is 6ft 2in+
the list goes on.

the new 2019 model fixes ALL the bad points that were bad in the previous generations, and adds more specs (LCD dual infographics, 18in wheels, keyless, etc.. all as STANDARD)

Yeah it's what it should have been in the first place. Just waiting to see what it's like in person. Are they in dealers at all yet?

You guys get 48 hour test drive?! Wow lucky..
In the US you get like a 5-10 minute test drive and they come along with you and tell you where to go. Basically go in a circle and come back to the dealer.. it's useless

cant comment hanvnt driven it but then again its a fwd diesel hatchback it felt ok going up and down the motorway the few times i have ive been in it.

Well, depends where really. Places like Mercedes, BMW, etc should let you but not all will. It's getting better though I think.

Dont really get whats wrong with em, my mates got one with the amg and night pack and i think it looks the part.

The interior is very "plasticky" out-dated and cheap feeling for the price. Compare it to Audi and BMW for instance, they are just better quality.

Gone are the days were Mercedes etc were catered for only those who had deep pockets. They used to be for the executives and lets say "above average salary earner".

But with competition getting tough, they expanded bringing Merc to the masses in more affordable ways and this is the outcome. Maybe they are cutting costs in the wrong ways throwing in these plastics bits n bobs.

Hmm I just think they were lazy with the A-Class. Mercedes is no more premium than BMW or Audi in my opinion. The 2019 A-Class is a huge step up in comparison.

It isn't now. But it used to be. Much like years ago, you had limited choice for brands selling an SUV. Nowadays, even Porsche do them.
