Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I have a Fiio E10K and it this clone is noticeably better, The Beyer AMP/DAC may be a clone but it's a damn good one.

I was exaggerting a bit but the point was while I don't doubt it's good I think beyer are crap for pricing it so poorly and trying to rip people off probably what cost them less than $40 to make. This opinion doesn't extend to there headphones though. Which I love my Amiron home headphones

I doubt any AMP/DAC really costs more than $20-$40 to make.

That isn't the case, though. The power stage in the Beyer is *really* high end and expensive to buy. Mosfet power supplies are, generally. They are also rated very highly for their lack of any background noise, hiss, or hum.

Now sure, a £90 clone will use a much cheaper and more crude power arrangement, but the real deal doesn't. Whether that equates to $1500? never, but it does make for a lovely sounding amp.

Head Fi is really starting to die off now. I think a lot of people have realised that most of it is a con. If you can go and buy a 1kw Cerwin Vega power amp for $300 then why in the name of balls does a tiny headphone amp with hardly anything in it cost £400?

Hifi in general is a rip off. $3000 cables lmfao. For speakers? down to the builder's yard and buy solid copper core mains cable for about 70 pence a metre. Solid copper, can't say fairer than that.

So whilst most of it (well, nearly all of it) is a total rip (I can build a Musical Fidelity clone for about £8 in parts) £90 for a clone really isn't that bad. And it does sound really nice. If I was all about the price tag I would swear up and down that my Graham Slee sounds better and keep using it regardless. But I don't, and I haven't.

I'm going to get the Lehman clone soon. It is the only amp I want to hear now.

But yeah, that Beyer clone and the T5P are a match made in heaven. It really is incredible. If I spend a few days at my mother's, then go home and put my cans on? dear god it's like having sex for the first time again.

I've got a pair of Beats Studio here, and they just don't compare in any way shape or form.

A Samsung UE55MU6670 to compliment the PS4 Pro :)

Horizon Zero Dawn looks amazing.

Velly noice. I got a 55" for £349. Was a 2017 model, but I was delighted to see "Supports 4k @ 60hz" when I plugged the Xbone X into it last week.

I've totally fallen in love with it. Not only is it good for gaming but it also supports *proper* 4k netflix (the first device I have had that does !) as well as 4k BR (though £20 a movie kinda scared me off) and it's the perfect bedroom media box too. The streaming quality is excellent, far better than the Fire stick I have.

Beyer crap ? Beyerdynamic are definitely not crap, Nigh on every studio in the world uses Beyerdynamic cans for recording and mastering.

Also as I said, The Schiit stack would have cost me over double.

Beyer AMP/DAC = £80

Basic Schiit Stack = £220

Little bit of a price difference.

I do believe professionals opt for the Sennheiser HD650 over Beyer due to the increased Freq range and THD of just 0.05%r. Avicii for example RIP, stated he disliked Beyer and opted for Sennheiser or V-MODA Crossfade.

I think one of the best quoted by most audiophile reviewers is the Shure SRH 1540. For open back mixing, Beyer do come out on top given price vs performance. Don't think the DT990pro can be challenged in that area.

Yeah someone really needs to curb my watercooling habit...

OMG man really I hate months like this :(

So the way things go for me *sometimes* (and it's rare, like 3 months of the year) I find myself with some extra money (because some months have 3 two week billing periods). Any way, I find myself £380 up. I was well happy.

Got home, £80 water bill ffs. Paid that. Mum reminded me I owed her a tenner, so I sent her £50 being nice. Bought her a TV for £30. Vaping liquid goes on sale, so I stock up £44) charger packed up, £25. Came home forgot my second batteries (well, it was mum's fault as she moved them) £15. Needed coils for my cig £8. Go out yesterday and decide to upgrade the quality of the food, £20. Get home and after installing GOW4 I realise I haven't got a Live sub, there goes another £30 odd.

Over two days I am down to £100 lmao. All I bought that is fun is two Xbox games (GOW 4 for £19 and Quantum Break for £12 and a chatpad for £30).

Maybe god is trying to send me a sign that I should be gaming on my PC lmao.

Maybe its a bit of a no no. But I always bought my LIVE sub from G2Play.net. Have done it for years without an issue. Cost me between 15-20quid for 12months and always had between 1-3 months free depending on the deal at the time.

Havent subbed for a year though as I no longer use the XBX for gaming, but definately a good deal in my opinion

Got it from CDKeys. Price was good, but I admit I didn't spend all day messing around. I thought my pal and I were going to play GOW 4 last night, then I found it it's 115gb.

Time we got to play it was bed time ffs.
