Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Congrats!

Although I think you will find using the gearshift paddles far easier and more efficient than the gear shift.

Gear shift however does shift faster than paddles from the game pov. When using paddles you will notice an extended period in Neutral. Master the shifter and you can save some sweet seconds for sure.

I miss my old wheel and by old I mean old, microsoft sidewinder pro :o it's all about shaving those seconds and having a clutch with H shifter should be more natural. Controllers lose something when driving and the force feedback will let me know what the car is doing.

Had a good few months working my rear off so it's treat time.

New PCars time trials coming soon!

I'd love a wheel like that but I can't justify the price for one plus setting it up. Only racing game I really play is Formula One and even then I only play that rarely.

I would absolutely love to play Project Cars in VR mode with a wheel and everything as well but same reason applies there.

Happy owner of this beast of a CPU, AMD RYZEN 7 2700X

Now i just hope the memory i'm using atm will work with the ROG Crosshair VI Extreme.

Very nice, I doubt you would run into too many issues since the BIOS updates and Zen+'s improved memory controller but I could be wrong. I wouldn't expect much issue since that is a top of the range board

I was say the price had the shifter been included was good value. However they decided to separate them. I still bought them anyway since there are not many options available without forking out too much. But Logitech gets brown points from me for selling the gear shifter separate.

Red trim on the wheels would not be as good as you think considering the calipers or brakes are red already. It would be slightly too much. I think the Wheels are perfect as they are.

And please don't hate on me... but I'm not keen on that Sideburn looking red on the side. Had it been a strip running all along the bottom it would have been my flavour, but for me, seeing the swoosh run up the door feels out of place :(

Of course the car is all about you and how you like it. That is what matters most.

Bought this and i'm super happy with it, one of the best things in my rig, the control over the fans is amazing, fans are now super quiet when you want to chill and ramp up automatically when gaming etc depending on temps, ability to set fan curve profiles is great:

Think Dice uses this too and has good words about it. For the price though, ill stick with the Aquaaero. I do regret buying the drivebay variant though. I should have picked up the one without the display as I never use it.

This is coming with the 1000D case isnt it? since that is on my list to purchase.

I was looking into the Aquaaero drive bay version but in my Fractal R6, i have a 360 rad in the front its endtank gets in the way so that drive bay is useless.

On Corsair website, it is showing the 1000D coming with a integrated Corsair Commander PRO :)

Someone needs to stop me. Ill be going SLI GPUs on the next gen, 1000D with 4 480 rads, new CPU etc etc...
So yeah, 1000D will be ordered as soon as I can get it.

Company bonus was big this year so need to spend some before the rest gets put in savings. Giving myself a nice £5000 budget.

Would love a 1000D but my days of having cases the size of refrigerators are gone. They're just a royal PITA to work on.
