Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

This really isn't a purchase that I did, but a friend sent me an early birthday gift: :)

Aye, I'm holding off doing a WC loop right now to save for a new GPU ready for Metro Exodus, but it looks too good to say no. At least with AMD sticking with AM4 for a long time, I can change CPU/Motherboard and not get rid of it

What GPU you saving for? Curious since your sig suggests you like AMD.

Will be an Nvidia GPU (Either Pascal or Volta depending on what comes) since I don't have a FreeSync monitor or anything, I can't justify buying Vega in its current state. My view may swing depending on what aftermarket Vega cards behave like but at the same time, Metro has always ran better on Nvidia cards anyway. I do like AMD don't get me wrong, but I've constantly flip flopped between Red and Green on the GPU front

Ooo a new Metro? didn't like 2033, but adored Last Light. One of the best games I've ever played !

Aye, It got announced at the Xbox One X conference because it runs at 4K on it. Straight after Deep Silver confirmed it for PC and PS4. Would love for it to be put on the Switch but you can guarantee it will set it on fire trying to run it haha

Did you play the original 2033 or the Redux 2033?

I played the original 2033 and thought the graphics were amazing, but the combat felt a bit light and I just died all of the time. It was pretty hard..

So I bought LL the day it came out (not sure why, I wasn't really a fan of 2033) and had some of the most beautiful and wonderful moments I've ever had in gaming. Even though it hated SLi at launch I soldiered on (sometimes at like 13 FPS) through the swamps (the bit that nearly made me give up) and yeah, completed it. I developed a really good strategy for wiping mofos out. I loved it, every last bit.

So then I heard they had refined 2033 so I figured sod it I will give it another go. I got to this bit where you just continually get bombarded with those pink b-tards and couldn't figure it out. I just kept running out of ammo. So I quit again.

I used to be able to take stress in games. I can't now, I just see red and want to smash things. So as soon as a game annoys me with MDS (multiple death syndrome) I just shut it off lol.

Wow is that an XRV I see? not many people with those these days !

My mate turned his 1l into one many years ago. Kitted it out with seats and everything in the back :D

It is a MK5 but its a proper van. The XR series stopped with the Mk3 (XR2i) the ZetecS kind of replaced it in the Mk5 range, Mk4 didnt really get a sporty model.
