Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Yeah Dell make some lovely kit. *boring bit*. Yes it was probably a return Tom. In 2006 Dell signed an agreement to say they would stop throwing working kit in the landfill. Before this if something was returned they were not legally allowed to sell it as new so they basically threw it in the landfill. Madness really ! any way, as part of the EU recycling pact they were forced to start selling it. At first they sold it on palettes to people at auctions (and that is how I got my first and second Alienwares) but then they obviously realised they were missing a trick and thus, the Dell Outlet was born.

Pretty cool really. I got my M11X from there for a song too :) But yeah, that's how I have been able to afford my Alienwares lol. I bought the 2014 new though but that's the only one :)

Im actually a fan of Dell's - I have two now.

I have an all singing all dancing XPS15 and I have just got an Inspiron 13 for the workshop. The last one was a bargain £370 refurb from Dell with 3 years warranty - came looking like new, I think it was just a return!

I've been a fan of Dell’s laptops for a while now. My personal laptop is the XPS 13 bought in 2015 and I couldn't be happier with it.

This Inspiron is really nice for the entry level price I paid.

Where I moved to 2 weeks ago is a very small town surrounded by lots of countryside but it is REALLY busy when it comes to cars as there's a main motorway right by us and there aren't really that many places to bike or jog without going into farmers fields which have a butt ton of cow landmines in them so got myself some indoor cardio equipment :)

Nice one, been thinking of getting one myself but I just want one that looks normal with no flashy gaming stuff on it. Only ones I can find are Ducky's which are £100-£150 :(

Missus was complaining of her laptop being slow, so now she's running an SSD instead of a HDD. (Doesn't help that her laptop has a Pentium but can't change that)

I installed SSDs on many machines, some old ones aswell and the difference is incredible.

Aye, it's the advice I pretty much give anyone who has a slow machine. Most with laptops never go for it because their HDDs are full, don't want to pay for an SSD same capacity and don't want external HDDs either. Their loss :D

I have an SSD as a boot drive, but keep considering swapping it for a mechanical and having the SSD as a games drive, considering I switch my pc on and go make coffee it seems a waste to have the SSD booting

Aye thats a fair point, but I honestly say its more than just booting up, from experience it affects the responsiveness the OS entirely, before I got onto SSD, Windows would occasionally slow down when running multiple programs because of the HDD not keeping up. But now I can run loads of things and it still keeps up with me.

Yeah SSDs makes the whole experience better. It's more than just boot times.

I did the same - I replaced an aging 5400rpm 160GB Mechanical drive in an old Core 2 Duo system with a SanDisk 240 GB SSD. It's an amazing transformation.

Highest rated Corsair RMi I could find, The Corsair RMi 1000w 80+ Gold, Replacing my Corsair 650w RMi as I'm playing around with Vega and that is hella power hungry, Already have the full black cablemod kit for this.

Corsair Void Pro Wireless Black version, I actually also have the non pro version which I managed to get in an open box sale after my original Void wireless passed away due to me dropping it on a concrete floor :D , Brand new for only £40, The wireless non pro version I'm using for music while doing cardio on my indoor bike and the Pro when I'm actually at my rig.

And so it begins.
Dice on the watercooling addiction. I suspect it'll grow strong;)

Well I actually changed my order to the 120mm version of the Vega block/pump/rad instead of the 240, For spacing reasons as I'm going to get a Alphacool Eisbaer 280 for the top of the case which is a pre-filled pump/res/rad/block for the CPU, Next month I'll be getting the pre-filled 360mm rad with connectors for the front of the case, Just connect them all up with the quick connect hoses, Tidy up the hoses and hey presto watery goodness.

Going to be a 1-2 month process though, Funds are tight ATM.

Aren't they ever!
I just bought my 1080, so i know the feeling. I know it all to well since my girlfriend won't let it go.
Her: "You'll spend $500 on the stupid computer but you won't spend it on ME?!"
Me: "Uh yeah? I have priorities"
Her: Says nothing. Which we all know means I'm going to regret this decision. That is if I cared:D
Then again if I disappear.... you all know what happened^_^
