Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Nice, I was looking to get a cheap mechanical one with RGB but couldn't find much under 50€, this is 39.99€ on Amazon Spain which is pretty great, just need to see if it will work out cheaper getting it from the UK site or the ES site with the conversion.

I bought the cheapest mech board you can buy about two years ago now. Magicforce. At the time it was £29.99. I still have it. I needed to replace the space bar switch (£2 for a Cherry Blue) but other than that it's still going strong. And believe me I am hard on my keyboards. I work over them, fill them with acrylic dust, spill crap on it etc.

Not sure how the new one will be, but it's only for my old skool build any way so I will barely be touching it :)

wouldn't be so bad if you could change it to 1 colour

at £20.99 I could quite happily leave them all off lol.

Decided to make the old skool PC its own entity.

So I did it. Found a seller who was willing to give it away at a decent price. No sales tax either so it really helped me bring that price down.
Gonna be selling a PS4 and my RX480. Won't cover the cost entirely but just enough!

Congrats. Quite the upgrade :D

I don't get the difference in sales tax. Is it state dependent?

Sales tax varies by state. All but 7 states have it if I remember correctly but every state that does varies. California (I live here) has the highest or at least one of the highest, state tax rates of 7.5%. But if you live in California and you buy something from say Texas who doesn't have Sales tax, you won't be charged for it because the transaction takes place in Texas.
It gets pretty confusing very quickly with many loop poles. Heck even buying from say Washington where Steam's HQ resides, I don't get charged sales tax even though Washington has a sales tax. Like I said. Makes no sense lol

Nice NBD welcome to the 1080 club :)

Thanks. I still have the 3 year warranty on it which is nice. Only reason why I bought it, otherwise I still couldn't justify the cost without some sort of backup plan. Only because eBay and all.

When you buy on the internet you do not pay tax unless it ships from the state you reside in. However, when it reaches you you are supposed to declare it and pay the tax. That's how it worked when I was living there. Does Newegg charge you tax? because they ship out of Cali.
