Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Bought this Canon Powershot SX540hs

canon-powershot-sx540hs.jpg

And for the price, 300 euro, it is pretty bad, this was a pic on auto mode and the grain on this picture is disgusting, even with manual iso and shutter tweaks its still there.

Picture of the grain, make it full size to notice proper.

Damn, My crappy £60 Samsung camera can do better

I Don't understand how people reviewed this positive really, i know people have different standards but yeah... taking it back tomorrow and go for a Dslr starter pack in the form of a Canon 1300D, should do me a lot better.

For photography you would really need to understand the settings of the specific camera to get the best out of it. You can buy the next one up but that doesn't really mean it will take better pictures if you do not learn the features of the specific camera.

I been shooting with it for a quite a bit today, different iso, shutter settings, compression settings, image size settings, all different things, comparisons and yeah it can be okay, but i've had better camera results for less money then this thing, it has 50x zoom and 1080p 60 fps video recording which are nice features but no, this is below average really.

Yeah those images aren't very good at all.
A basic DSLR will perform better for the same money, and the option to swap out to better lenses.

I have been trying to get use to my Canon 1200D but everytime I manually set anything the images just look garbage.

This was done on Auto+

Looking at the file information it say's it was shot at:

ISO 100

Shot 1/125

F/7.1 28mm

Resolution is 5184*3456

I really need to start looking in to the setting's more on this camera but because it's called so many different things in different, countries trying to find videos on it is quite difficult.

It's amazing how many fittings/stuff you need to do something simple like a drain plug tbh. It works out bloody costly !

For me to add a fill port to my rig I had to use four Bitspower fittings and a Bitspower fill port. At full retail price that's like £100 plus the tubing ffs. Nuts !!

Not bothered with a drain port. It's very easy just to remove the CPU block (four screws) and stick a bucket under it.

Thats because they are smarter than us.. by making the draing valve a female connection we have to shell out extra male connectors, F-Block or Q-Blocks, Stopper plugs etc. Would be nice to have the compression connectors or fitting pre-attached. I think Bitspower do this on some of their rotaries, but not the drain valve.

I actually find their "fill port" better used as a pass through that what its actually for. Makes routing of tubing through panels and walls much cleaner.

Corsair 120mm ML Pro Red LED for the EVGA 1080 Ti Hybrid kit, I'll be replacing the red corners with the black clip corners from Corsairs store though -

Those really revealing leggings that women wear are really popular now. It's like, you get on the train to go to your psychology appointment and some babe is walking around in skin tight leggings in 10°C weather. Thanks for that unwanted boner.

Try living in Norway. They wear them as common clothing 12months a year. Have been doing that for last 3years. At least I know my blood circulation is healthy ;)

I'm moving to Norway !!! :D

On the topic my great great great grandfather on my Irish side was from Norway, He moved to western Ireland and married an Irish woman, I may have to trace my roots back properly and do a field trip to Norway, Not to see the women in leggings though......................... ^_^

Bitspower are crafty M-Fers tbh. I bought two of their 90' fittings with G 1/4. I figured I would screw them into the GPU and then bring the hoses out horizontally. Only when you screw them in they do not leave enough height to put a fitting into them. So you then have to buy extenders too

I was annoyed is putting it mildy. Yes I only paid £2 each but usually they are well over £20. Very naughty to sell a fitting like that IMO.

What annoyed me the most was that after I had bought all of the bits to make the T piece (£6 for a XSPC T piece and then it gobbled up three BP fittings) I found a silver T piece with it all built in for £3.

*RAGE*. Ah well, it's done now.

Wanted a set of BDs with Tesla drivers for ages. Time to see what all the fuss is about !

Why you get the first gen Tesla t90?

Sounds like you bought the shorter rotaries. They sell ones with same dimensions as EK, Barrow rotaries etc.

You effing serious?! Damn. I wish I paid that much for a t90. Nice find. That's absurd value

Ta. They're not perfect.. Customer returns. In the photos they look absolutely mint. You can see they have hardly been used by the ear pads. The guy says that the left headphone is slightly lower in sound than the right, and that it throws off the stereo image.

I gots two options.

1. Try and balance it out using Windows (balance on the sound card)

2. Replace the driver for £100. Even at £160 that's still ridiculously cheap.

The thing is? I know they will be no match for my Grados. Nothing is. I often change over to my bigger cans for some bass laden fun, then when I put the Grados on it feels like I've been wallowing through mud and just had a cold shower. The only thing the Grados lack is low end punch and grunt, but everything else is untouched by every other pair of cans I own. Thing is as I get older I find myself listening to music quieter than I did when I was young and thus don't mind not having the bass on tap.

They will likely just end up in the boneyard with all of the others (on the pole lol) so I don't know if I will be bothered enough to repair them. My BD Custom One Pro had the same issue and I put up with it for 15 months before returning them.

Actual pics. As you can see from the headband and cups they've not been worn much because usually headphones look terrible with flash.

I mean to me I would replace the driver and still be happy with that value. But if you already have a bunch of headphones and only basically use one can, it's probably not worth it:)
