Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I love how you done your AIO tubing like that, but unless your fans on the radiator are intakes, you gonna have a heck of a dust problem with all fans exhausting like this. switch the bottom fans around to have em as intakes.

I had planned on making the bottom fans as intake but I just wanted to see what it would look like with the current parts. The case is too small for regular sized fans on the radiator so I had to order slim fans which will be arriving soon. I also have custom cables on the way, and once they arrive I'll begin painting the GTX logos to color match. There are a few other things I'm going to do, but as I said, it's still a work in progress. :)

I bought myself a project for a whopping £15 inc. (that includes the veneer @ £5 lol)

And what it will hopefully resemble.

Note it says "Bass on Musical Fidelity X10-D" well apparently it is. It's also about ten times cheaper and from the reviews I read equally as good.

I kinda cocked up before by first buying a Little Dot MK1 and falling in love with it, then thinking that the LD2 would be better so when the LD1 packed up I ordered the more expensive LD2. Sadly all valve power meant that it was not enough to drive some of my headphones and would distort. As a last gasp effort I ended up running the pre out only line out of the LD2 into my Graham Slee Novo. The sound was incredible. Sadly it seems these amps are all made like crap so the LD2 failed and Amazon did not have any more in stock. It failed in exactly the same way. Left channel went missing, came back if you tipped the valve or pressed on the body. Obviously some guy can't solder properly. So I am going to make my own pre replacement. I've chosen this for the top.

Walnut burr. Should look bostin with 500ml of laquer on it :D

Yo can you PM me a link or three on where you bought that kit from? Quite fancy putting one together myself. I've got a Little Bear Amp that I love, but came pre-assembled, Wanna have a bash at it myself :)

A bunch of things recently purchased, but still waiting on the custom cables to arrive, as well as a few other things before I can finish it.

I love that case. I was torn between the UMX4 and the W2. I think I'm going to go for the W2.

It's a shame Jonsbo didn't add just a few millimeters to the top (or offset the mounts) so that folks could install full thickness fans on their AIO's.

I really love the looks/layout of this case, however I'm slightly disappointed that there isn't enough room for dual 240mm radiators as it would look terrific with a custom loop inside. It might be possible with a microATX board, but I'll need one that has SLI support on the X370 chipset; At this time there is only one X370 microATX board, but it's Crossfire only.

The case is better suited to air cooling I think, but with a few tweaks it would be bangin' with a loop as you say. I have seen a few custom loops with a 240 at the top and bottom.

I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to pick up the Jonsbo MOD01. It's ugly I know, but it has some sort of hold over me saying I should get it, and reverse the window :D

Nice one. Not seen a green one yet !

Beautiful case though. S frame looks and quality for like 1/3 the price.

Switching out that Jonsbo panel made all the difference too. Please post a log ! would love to see this :D

Corsair SF600; for my gaming HTPC custom build I'm working on. I'm building a prototype case from steel and fiberglass (I get fiberglass for free) which I'll re-case my current CPU/Motherboard/GPU into and then work up a full set of CAD drawings to have it machined in anodized aluminium and tempered glass.

I like that. I think it was a bloody good idea for Jonsbo to incorporate that. Such an easy mod, with fantastic visual impact :)

Oh yeah, I bought some more stuff. I want to go with a walnut burr/gold theme. Something lavish and art deco. So I ordered a proper bolt on volume knob.

Full metal, uses a grub screw. I don't like volume indicators or anything like that. I always find that the correct volume is the one you like best :D

Also remember that walnut burr?

Well what I wanted to go with it was brushed gold leaf. Obviously there is no such thing, you have to lay it yourself and then brush/stipple etc. All very difficult and fiddly. Then I remembered that Justin painted a bike for Orange County Choppers years ago and used brushed gold vinyl.

Now look at the walnut burr, then take a close look at that. Should be a winning combo tbh. Vinyl and knob (lol) cost me £4.
