Watercool makes nice gear. Cheaper than EK too, and I like these a LOT more. Don't have back plates though, since I don't know what to do about those.

Hmm. So they don't do a 1080Ti back plate? they may soon? Yeah their stuff is beautiful man. I have one of their rads and it's a 240 and weighs about ten times as much as my EK 360.

Damn, they look awesome. Congrats on the new gear. Shame about the backplate though.
They have back plates, but my local guy had none in stock. They're just a plain black plate anyway, so I may take a shot at making some simple acrylic ones, or buying custom ones from V1 tech.
Thanks, but it'll work out in the end. I'm ok running plate-less with this much GPU horsepower.
I already have shiny nickle back plates with my current GPUs. It's nice, but I could also see flat black working in my current build. I might even pester a local modder to do something custom for me. We'll see.polished/chrome would look the best IMO. Putting acrylic behind those should be a crime

Here is what I bought myself as a present for being single. It's a 24, BTW.
As well as these. The rear is a freewheel, but the axle nuts will need to be reduced. Can do it easily with my Dremel
And a pair of these with tubes.
I paid $210 for the "bundle" you see there. I have pedals (with sealed bearings) and bars (from a Ripper, perfect height for a cruiser but too low for a 20" for me) and so on. I don't need much apart from crank arms and a spindle.
Overall with shipping and customs the bundle was £270 and the other parts £50. My aim is to keep it under £350 or there abouts total, which is half of what the Quad costs here in the UK ! So happy to have an old style Quad. Never owned one before

I can beat that record by a few years.
Nerd toys treat you better than women! They're a LOT less abusive, even if it's Intel or Nvidia parts. Somehow, their financial sodomy doesn't hurt nearly as much as the emotional sodomy that can be inflicted upon you by a female.

Cheers man. I'd been in the club for 7 years when I met my wife. It was tough. Push her away and continue on single or get out there..
It just didn't work out. So yeah, back to not having to explain anything any more etc etc. No more forcing myself to go to sleep when I don't want to, etc etc.
