Lol has Barrow become the ThermalTake of watercooling? Those D5 shrouds look identical to Bitspower.

That's funny.

Barrow, IMO, make some of the best fittings available right now. The stuff I have used has been exceptional.

Their prices are good too. Not too cheap (as then the quality would suffer) but just cheap enough to smack around pretty much any other company at the level of quality offered.

Their extenders and other misc stuff I used literally saved my life, as I was not able to attach a fitting to one of the rads I bought because it was old and designed to use barbs.

Their Orings were very reasonable too and again, top quality. I stretched one over my res plug (because the oring on it had perished) and not only did it stretch that far but it worked and continued to work until I replaced the cap.

I didn't buy anything else I just did a trade with a pal on another forum. I got 8gb Samsung 1866 "green" ram.

Just Cause 3 is about to launch MP and my rig crashes after numerous warnings I don't have enough RAM so I got those to bring me to 16gb. Existing ram is 2133, so I will run all of it @ 1866.

I swapped my leftover WC gear, so got some cash too. I bought two of these.

In red. I won't be using the fans and the stickers will be going too (via the heat gun). The quality seemed very good.

And the price was reasonable :)

There's not much design element in a cover like that man. It's a threaded tube, LOL! Not much to rip off there. And I'm not paying $60CDN each for covers. I like Bitspower stuff, but they're way over-priced. That's getting old.

Random bits and pieces really.

First up some chain tensioners for my new bike. I hate slack chain.

Then a case for my £30 tablet.

Won't be using those horrible corner things though, will fix it in with some double sided foam tape or just glue it. Don't care about the tablet so yeah, will do that.

And a couple of badges for my PCs. One for the Xeon rig.

It's the new Skylake one and even though I don't have a Skylake CPU I just thought it looked really nice and modern. I also got one of these for my 5820k rig because it did not come with one (OEM).

And that's about it really :)

I didnt state they were worse quality. Its good to have more market competition. I have no problems with buying from Barrow if they were available to me.

However I don't see any attempt at making their own mark on it aside from the logo :)

Bitspower are indeed stupidly overpriced and I have had more issues with their rotaries than EK. Luckily they are great to have on skype and replaced some of my fittings with a few little additional bits n bobs are a sorry.
