I'm only using the Asus stand which to me looks like the illegitimate love child of Megatron and Optimus Prime for a few weeks until I get myself an Ergotech arm.
To me the actual monitor minus the stand from the front looks less gamery with the subdued Asus logo instead of the red Predator branding.
But as you said, Each to their own.
Pricing in Australia is a little insane though, I'd move country ^_^

Another thing i don't like about PG348Q is that stupid light they put in it, I like the underglow light that the X34 has, In general i'm fed up heard about people saying that you can turn it off, How about no i rather not have it at all.
The red Predator branding badge doesn't bother me at all.

Well the light won't be an issue for me as I'm getting the Ergotech 7Flex HD desk mounted arm

If you're basing your decision between two ~£1000 monitors on the built-in speaker wattage you're doing it VERY VERY wrong. :lol:

Apart from the stand and speakers they use the exact same LG panel in both monitors.

Good choice, The MM800 may seem like a gimmick but it genuinely brightens up a desk and looks quite snazzy

Yeah i been looking at some other options, but the rapidfire being 40 euro cheaper on sale now and the fact i LOVE corsair's open keyboard design, making it so easy to keep everything clean, i just don't want enclosed keyboards anymore really. Yes i am that nut that takes off each key every few months and cleans all of it.
Im very curious about the mousepad, i think im in for a treat on that one, considering i been using a gel supported thingy that finally gave up being good after 5 years hehe.

This right here. Exactly the same.
Personally I prefer the looks of the Acer but yeah heard things about QC from both manufacturers (the original Swift and old Acer panels as well as the first release of the Predator) so TBH I would take them all with a grain of salt and just order the one I like the look of the best (and cheaper because Australia)
As long as the Predator is the newer revision it's fine. The Swift is not visually my cup of tea but I'd still love one on my stand to replace the three cheap 24's I have now.

It's a waste of money tbh. I'd rather save that kind of cash up for some HDR enabled Widescreen 3440x1440 monitors. Just my 2cents

Ordered the Razer Blackwidow X Chroma as my RGB K95 is the 3rd K95 to fail on me now.
Used the X yesterday and it feels really nice to use and is built like a tank -
Nice, although I can't personally see what people like about mechanical keys... They gave me fatigue in my wrists due to their height. And also, that keyboard doesn't seem to have any wrist wrest? What the...? :huh::mellow:...
