Ended up getting the Dell S2716DG, 1440P, 144Hz and G-Sync and one of the best parts is there are no boy racer lights all over it, Nice clean design and amazing warranty service from Dell :)

Wouldn't have bothered with the sound card personally :P

ye, you're probably right, felt like buying it for some reason, I'll just pretend i can suddenly hear 20hz range thanks to it now :P oh well, might end up returning it ifs a waste of time to have it

I originally bought this last month.

I bought it to go with a huge set of over ear headphones as my Reggae/Rap/Irresponsible set up. I loved it too, but sadly it developed a fault (either a dodgy valve or the socket had a bad connection as if you wiggled the valve it worked). I didn't feel like risking taking it apart so I backed to Amazon. Because of how much I liked it I decided to up the ante a little and spent an extra £40 on this instead.

It's coming tomorrow, VV excited. I've tried the headphones (Hifiman HE400S) on all of my other sound cards and amps and they just don't sound the same. That warm, deep fat sound is sadly missing. This was planned though, as I have multiple sound cards (four at last check) and multiple styles of headphones and amps (neutral, punchy etc).

Ed. I actually have five sound cards in all :S

More modding stuff.

And yesterday my soldering iron literally fell apart (after I had ordered the sponges) but I got this too.

Some primer for plastic.

And top coat.

And then 12 10ml bottles of vaping liquid and these.

OK so that was all of my monthly stuff (liquid coils batteries etc) out of the way and the parts and paint I need to finish my project. This is going to be a lean month, so I finally treated myself to these.

And this time I hope they come. I ordered a set before from a bloke in China and three weeks later he just refunded me for no reason :( so I have kinda wanted them for months and months but they're getting very hard to find as they're an old set.

buttload of monsoon hardline tubing (run out and used old stock thats why tere is a blue bit)

this is the temporary case for my pc while i am designing the new custom oe over again. hardline tubing as a pain in the neck. an absolute pain. but it looks great.

Just ordered some custom parts, Custom backplate for my 1080 that replaces the stock version and a midplate for the Corsair 540 that covers over the bottom mounted SSD/HDD trays :)

The midplates green highlights in the middle are slightly transparent so I'm going to put a small bank of 3 green dim LED's underneath to light it up, If the writing is a transparent white then I'll get 2 white dim LED to light it up.

I just discovered that the Mainboard that I have may not work with this CPU. (without a BIOS flash)
I've had it for over a year, sitting on the shelf. So now I have to try to get it flashed.

If it's an Asus board it should have USB bios flashback so you only need to plug in the mobo 24 pin power cable to flash it using the USB method.

It's a Gigabyte X99 SOC Force.

Oh cool! it does have that feature! (Q-Flash Plus)

I have to say that I just love all of the new capabilities built into tech gear these days.

How cool is that?

It is pretty neat, I remember flashing was such a pain years ago but with USB bios flashing even if the power goes out and bricks the bios you can just re-flash using the USB method :)

Still got my X58 rig running so I figured I'd give it a treat...

This will be fun, basically a 6 core hyper-threaded Sandy you can overclock. :P
