Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I got these for myself the Saitek i got a little while ago but had not been on here for a while:

Needed these as my H2000 where a little tired and the battery life was getting a bit short, so they have now become my dads and i Got these :)

After seeing and playing Elite Dangerous and loving it i invested in these, and wow they make a difference, i certainly feel like a wing commander now!

Again my old MM was getting a bit tired and i wanted a wider one as i think they look neater. The cups to hold my X52 did not like my desk but the feet do like this MM

This is a trade more than a new item getting a TI for my 980 not a massive performance increase but if i do bite the bullet and save up for water cooling near Christmas then i will be thinking a little more at SLI, and that extra power and VRAM will helpies :)

Love the mat.
I might build a keyboard stand as I usually put my mouse between the throttle and joystick and then have the keyboard behind them in front of the monitors. You use the keyboard a lot less with the X52 but it's still handy to keep the mouse close for trading and navigation.

Do you run Windows 10? Do you have any issues with the X52? I find that if I pull the USB for the X52 out (the blue lighting is too bright to leave it plugged in permanently) the mouse goes crazy and I have to reboot. On other occasions the blue buttons lighting will pulse constantly. I don't think Saitek drivers like Win X.

Cheers

So my package from Amazon was left with "James". No word on who James was, nor where he lives. So I phoned Amazon who gave me a refund, stating that they had not even left me a card so what I would know where to go.

7:30 pm last night some one turns up at my door with a half opened parcel. I say "Are you James?" he says "No, James lives in my building is this your coffee machine?".

What a douche. Was obviously thinking of stealing it, then realised it was a coffee machine he probably had no use for. Thankfully the rest of my items (including a 480gb SSD) were all hidden under the brown paper.

Will have to phone Amazon tomorrow and let them know it arrived. Still can't believe what happened tbh. I mean you're either all in and you steal something or you don't, but opening it enough to see what's inside there before you decide?

I should have called the police on him in hindsight, it's lucky for him he caught me asleep and I woke up and went straight to the door all groggy.

Ah that sucks with the amazon thing!! Was everything else accounted for? Did the invoice look touched.

And yes I get the same issue on my x52 if you go into the software you can dim it however it won't do the throttle screen no idea why.

I have my keyboard above the mat so it's still accessible. I had the same thought about a stand one that is wide enough to put the keyboard under it and pull it out. I'm a desk neat freak

Best joystick implementation I've seen yet for Elite was at Lavecon, someone used a drum stand with some monitor clamps to make a pair of pads for throttle and stick. I've got a photo somewhere will show you later. Utterly excellent idea.

Thats a nice looking phone. How you liking it so far?
Yes, I really like the orange with the carbon skin, it's also something not everbody has. I'm really happy with it so far, coming from an iPhone there are some things I miss but other thing that I like a lot more the way android does it. The battery is great, I'm really not a power user when it comes to phones, but two to three full days is still pretty impressive.

That's a good idea. I'm surprised (particularly gaming) chair manufacturers don't make adaptors for their arms. Either slide in where the arm mounts and replaces it or just bolts on. USB cables could be messy tho..

You get an unlocked version? Sony has a couple of models that seem pretty good. I was thinking of getting an unlocked phone next time I upgrade. It's so much cheaper. With my contract now by the time i'm done, I basically paid $1000 without cost of buying the phone in the first place.

Yes, I always had unlocked phones, it's quite a bit cheaper. A couple of my mates also have Z3 compacts and they all like them. Sony also has a rather light skin but with some improvements like better battery management, which seems to be rather terrible (if at all existent) in stock android, at least from my experience with a Nexus 5.

Ah ok sweet! I'll have to give Sony a look when its time to upgrade!

So bought the Define S and x3 Gentle Typhoons 1450rpm versions. Would have got more but 3 was all Amazon had in stock. Got tired of my R4. So I'm retiring her:)

That case look so nice NBD they look really elegant to me

Ya it's going to be awesome! I plan on going under water, so I figured my current R4 is doable, however for a beginner extremely difficult. Not much wiggle room anywhere. So I decided I should get a new case and I found the Define S for less than $80(about 50pounds) and at the price it's a steal! I would have rather gone for a MATX or MITX case, but that would mean a whole new board and CPU since z77 isn't around much anymore. Cheapest option was a new case. Either way it's a massive upgrade over the R4:) Won't look different from the outside which is a plus.. makes it so my GF won't notice I spent money a new case! hahaha^_^
