Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I have a Corsair mouse and i use it a hell of a lot and it's still holding together

Same for my K90 keyboard. I just love the thing.

I just bought a Corsair AX-850 Modular Gold as a factory refurbished unit.

Just brought this now to replace my Corsair RM650, Thanks again to Dicehunter for the advice :)

Before anyone says over kill, I'm going to be changing my GPU as well ^_^

Oops lunch time walks can be bad. They were on sale though so saved $100!

2 x Samsung 24" E390HL montiors.

Now my Nvidia surround should finally work properly. All three monitors will have the same sync timings. The work arounds I've been using (custom resolution, EDID override) have been dodgy. Either not working at all or killing the driver and Nvidia Control Panel every time I shut down requiring a driver clean and re-install.

Happy days now until I can afford something like the new Acer Predator 100hz 3440*1440 IPS Gsync panel. Which, at close to $1900 AUD, won't be any time soon!

The Intels don't kick out anymore heat that the FX's and overclocks show much better results, You'll kick yourself down the line bud ;)

Depends on what he's doing really. If he's gaming he may get a boost from the Intel stock vs stock.

I must admit I don't miss the heat mine put out (8320) I had mine at 4.7ghz 24/7 and it did half pump some heat out the back.

Overall though a bit of a side grade but if it makes him happy then :)

Multi threaded though the AMD will still win....

I am just gameing these days originally i was running vm's so the extra cores where handy but my FX is useless at playing my old games like fallout that seams to only like one core maxing it out at 98% wile the rest do nothing haveing to disable 4 cores and oc'ing the FX chip to 4.9Ghz any time i what to play a old game was geting tedious. :p

IF you can still overclock them using the baseclock by a little bit if your putting a aftermarket cooler on it, then see which you can clock the highest and then flog the other two.

Otherwise see which uses the lowest voltage and provides the coolest temps and then flog the others.

I would however keep hold of them for 2 weeks in case they click on and try to ask for them back.
