Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I was going to ask you what you were doing about a monitor.. What happened with the cooler? did you upgrade it or something?

I upgraded the fans on the FX to 2 x SP120mm white LED editions in push pull :)

Sold my 4K monitor and got the BenQ XL2730Z, Identical to the ROG Swift in capabilities albeit with a metric butt ton more gaming orientated features and costs less, Oh and not Asus so no dead pixels :p

1440P, 144Hz, Freesync 40Hz-144Hz

Pleased for you there matey I remember my mate buying a benq monitor and it knocked spots off the Acer one I had both 1080p three years ago

Dice, how was it taking the Fury apart to get rid of the stock fan? I have to do mine soon...

It's pretty easy to be honest.

Just undo the 4 screws on the underside of the card and the metal plate just comes off, Then unscrew 2 screws holding the little plastic clip into place, Remove it and then remove the fan header gently.

Once you've removed the fan header getting the cable out of the housing can be a little tricky but it just take a minute or 2 to squeeze it through the small gap the cable is coming our of, Once you've removed the fan and cable completely from the housing screw the little plastic retention clip back on, the metal underside plat back on and you're good to go.

You'll have to plug another fan you want to use into either your mobo or wire it to your PSU as the GPU's fan header is a weird flat'ish 5 pin thing.

All in all though it's quite simple :)

So basically every weekend I watch the football via streaming on my PC. As such I usually end up watching three games on a Saturday which results in serious ear pain. Wearing over ear phones for that long has earned me two ear infections.. Thing is, it's football commentary so there doesn't need to be a lot of bass. So, given how light and comfy they were I bought a set of B&Os for £40 inc.

Annoyingly they do not fold (the price you pay for such scant 'phones) so I ordered this from Hong Kong ages ago.

And it arrived today. And for £1.70 it's absolutely awesome haha. They fit like a glove !

Thanks bud :)

I've actually had BenQ a number of times and they are superb monitors with a butt ton of features built in that leave the competition in the dust :)

First monitor I've had that I actually had to look in the user manual so many different settings you can change to make it look nice

Do tell me how you like it... I want one:p

Friend of mine in Germany has one and it takes a lot to impress him but he said it's better than his ROG Swift in the picture quality department and has a metric butt ton of features built in including -

Senseyes3
AMA
Color Vibrance
Flicker-free
Low Blue Light
S switch
Display Pilot
Auto Pivot
Game mode to go

Etc etc...

Yeah I did have the 24" 1080P non Freesync version of the monitor I'm getting tomorrow and the sheer amount of options was immense.
