Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

FPS is just a number

You're right, We should all play games at 1fps, FPS is just a number ^_^

Now on to some more obvious statements -

  • An apple is just a fruit
  • A piece of wood is part of a tree
  • A piece of paper can be written on
  • Water is made from hydrogen and oxygen
  • Dust is made from skin particles and debris
  • You see better in the day time
  • Minutes are the pre-cursor to hours
  • Grey can either become black or white
  • Soup has a liquid nature

Haha pew pew shots fired ^_^

I like the way Apples stuff looks and how it works and eventually I'll get an iMac, With all their top options in the hardware department i.e CPU, GPU, Memory, Storage as a treat to myself but they are stupidly overpriced for what they are.

Would you really want one? Aside from the looks, I dont see why you'd want one over a PC.

Don't see why you would want one in the first place... just my opinion though.

Well the sound API on OSX is much much better than that of Windows so that's 1 reason, And simply because I want 1 because I like the looks, I'm under no illusion that they are a good investment though ^_^

I needed somewhere to keep my movies off my pc so i can get ready to go down the SSD only route so i invested in one of these:

2x3tb drives which i will raid, for the Read/write speed, was on offer with about 140 quid off lol an experiment so will see want it so i can watch stuff in my room with lower power consumption than leaving my rig on all the time

And as i only have 1 Gigabit port on my smart hub thought i would get this:

so i can access files as quick as possibly locally at least.

Does anyone know if you can access these as standard network drive or do you NEED to go via the MyCloud service (i.e. do I need to create an account?)

i thought i was the only one, i used OS X, and decided i didnt want Windows, but realized i needed it to game

Having both installed on my PC, I must admit if I need to record/edit audio or video I boot into my OS X partition without thinking. Other than that, I pretty much leave it alone.

Guess I'm used to Windows more, and prefer navigation on it since I can do it much quicker e.g mouse buttons for forward and back don't work in OS X due to drivers, so I have to move the cursor to the buttons on the screen. It's a small thing, but when you're used to it and then count all those small things up, it does make quite a difference.

Also, apps that I use a lot like Skype. I just prefer the Windows version where I can loosen the chat windows from the main contacts window and resize them to the smallest possible and put them in the bottom of my screen. Can't do that in OS X either :(

You can do both, as far as im aware, my tv will access it directly the app is more for management and external access with out the need for Static IP's or proxies (i think the app allows their site to act as a proxy im not sure) ... or other ways round that i dont know.

Ok cool - so MyCloud is just for external access. Is it a free service do you know?
