Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I wouldn't say 5 years was rushed and considering the amount of people that worked on Watch Dogs I wouldn't say they had much choice to release it as they did.

I don't know what they've been doing for 5 years but that crap was surely not in development for that long.

The fact that it was in development for 5 years and it still got released looking as it does makes it worse.

Fair enough they may have been rushed to get it out but they would of known a long time ago that they wouldn't be able to do what they said they could. Instead of trying anyway, they should of done the best they could with the time they had instead of getting 90% done and leaving it so late that they had to cut back and rush it out.

That's personal opinion though. WD is not a simple game to make.

Again speculation, no real facts. Consumers of the games industry think they know everything and the right way to do it. The fact is, is that the games industry is way more demanding and complex than people think.

Ubisoft aren't amateurs (supposedly), so they should know what their limits are and not release half arsed stuff. There is no excuse for that fiasco, you wouldn't be okay with a car that is broken because it wasn't simple to build either.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it is an easy job and I understand the complexity of making games, especially ones like Watch Dogs. But five years of development is a long time and more than most games, not to mention the 6 month delay.

I don't know exactly what happened with the development, but it is obvious something went wrong. Going from what they showed the game looked like at E3 to what the game looks like now there is a night and day difference. They didn't just cut back a little, they cut back massively. Either way it resulted in the game being rushed out and not being what they said it was going to be.

It seems to happen a lot with games these days, I think the best thing devs can do is not make out their game is going to look or be as good as they made out Watch Dogs to be. That way the devs wouldn't be under so much pressure to get it that way and they wouldn't receive so much negativity from people when they don't deliver.
People including me preordered Watch Dogs based on what they said the game was going to be, so naturally when we got given what we got you can understand why we are not so happy about it.

Yeah I agree we shouldn't get unfinished games, however, consumers want developers to push the boundaries and unfortunately there is no business model that suits this. Kickstarter comes close (Star Citizen) but again that is not a solid form of funding. I personally prefer Steam early access games for early bug testing/consumer feedback at a reduced price and I think more developers should do this.

If EA/Ubisoft/Activision is publishing a title you simply don't preorder it. I think by now everyone should've realized that.

I don't want developers to push boundaries, i want them to release something solid. It seems like no major developer is capable of that.

Just ordered on Blu-ray Game of Thrones Season 1 (I'm late to the party but I gotta watch it, looks good!) 300, and Sin City.

Also got the S View Case after ordering my Galaxy S5, got that already though, very nice. :)

I just bought Mr. Kambo's 780 Classy. :) Very excited. I'll put some pics up when I receive it, does anyone have 4K monitors? I might YouTube a video of the rig from my S5 and let me know how it looks, haven't got a 4K monitor/TV myself so can't see it. :(

You got a great deal Shaun, good luck with the classy.

Here's yet another purchase I just made to keep my rig super quiet when it's running cool. I bet somebody knows what it's for :) I also picked ups few sheets of Matt black acrylic and a little square of sorbothane
