Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Changed my mind on 4K. Mostly because someone sent me the wrong screen, secondly because these

are fairly affordable in comparison, and I want to try 120/144hz and also GSync is a thing I was/am interested in doing.

Arrives tomorrow :) bit annoyed it's 16:9 when I have 16:10 screens now but.. meh..

You saw the light!
144hz > 4k. By far.

You need to read this. http://pcmonitors.info/reviews/asus-vg248qe
Without a proper ICC profile the colors look like shit.

This was also cool, only problem was that colors were all over the place, whites were purple'ish etc. But the difference between 120hz strobed and normal 144hz was insane to me.

What's this? I've heard of it but I do not know what this is. I won't be using this for 3D primarily tbh if it's for that?

What size is this ? Also is this G-Sync or are you waiting on that ?

24 inch, 1080p it's GSync ready (as in, it's the one you can mod if you can get hold of the module) but not pre-installed. The pre-installed ones and the mod chips seem to be few and far between, but I don't mind getting this now and waiting tbh. It's a fraction the cost of that 4k screen and my rig can drive this reliably I believe.

Finally its available for preorder :) . FYI its actually unlocked. Finally nice to have low end intel cpus to OC the balls off (again) ^_^. Its the Pentium G3258, which is a homage to the pentiums of old. Think of it like a HD re-release

Its also suprisingly not demanding. Premium beta is alot of money though :I. I guess its like star citizen, but less out of ship stuff.

Yeah, but that's like £100 for *everything* in the game including all future expansions and DLC which apparently will likely total about £85 anyway. I was looking at Star citizen but it just seems to be a money black-hole at the minute. People are throwing silly, silly amounts of money at it for what is not very much in my opinion.

Also, Elite will likely have what Star Citizen has, just, by the looks of it, better polished. And it runs beautifully!!

The first release of Elite: Dangerous will not mark the end of development.

We intend to continue expanding the game both with new content and new features. A good example of this is planetary landings. We have an ambitious goal for landings to include new gameplay and a rich variety of worlds to explore. To achieve our goal we want the planets to come to life. We also want to add leaving the ships so you can explore space stations or board enemy vessels or even just to look around your own.

oooh. If I hadn't already sunk £60 into Star Citizen I'd get elite dangerous as well.

At first i was ready to oppose and call BS, but the galactic map seems quite impressive.

Can you go to every star in that galaxy?
