and....

Had to pick up 2x 5m Ethernet cable, as the install guy said that only carry 1m cables (yellow cable in pic)...either way these 2x 5m Cat6 cables cost me a total of £3.80, and the time between I clicked 'buy' and the postman knocking on the door was just under 24hours.

I hate my Superhub 2, it freezes up often and I have to manually switch it on and off. Virgin wont give me another one either because apparently there is nothing wrong with it

I do notice a drop every now and then when downloading a steam update of something, but generally all is fine with mine....
Although my Network settings are dodgy at best......I had to faff around with DNS settings and stuff cos my PC thinks I have multiple networks on my machine.

I've always fancied a go at an eyefinity set up, so when a local shop was selling up, I pounced on a bargain. 3 AOC 23" IPS monitors, with a 2mm bezel and a 10mm inner black border they should work a treat and for only £100 each it was an even sweater deal. I've tried all 3 and they all have a perfect pixel count, and even have a display port input making the need for an £80 adapter not needed. I just need to rebuild my rig after 2 D5's failed ( psu problem) and I might get to use them.

where did you get them for £100 each?

A local repair shop was selling up mate. The owner was getting low balled on prices buy some young guy working from his bedroom, so it put him out of business. He got these in for a customer, who let him down.

From what I have tried they're great, the only problem is the bottom silver edge is slightly raised from the screen, so when it comes to lining them up, there is about a 5mm gap, all the way up. I have just this last 20 mins finished my build so out with the dremel in the morning.

After a little bit of Credit Card trouble (had to ring the bank to get it sorted), I ordered one of these babies this morning. Hopefully I'll get it this week.

Then after this, I SWEAR, no upgrades until 2015 at the earliest. ^_^

Nice :D

I tell myself the same thing about no more upgrades but i'm already thinking about getting a H440 and buying myself a entry level DSLR.

Very nice, You will enjoy it a lot, Awesome beast of a card :)

I just realized that's a photo of the 290X, but it's actually the regular 290 I've ordered.

This upgrade bug is a killer. It's not as if I can't afford it, I could easily go out and buy an i7-4960X and 2 780Ti's tomorrow, but I plan on upgrading my car this year so dropping all this dosh on PC hardware isn't helping. :D

I really didn't want to but! My poor HTC One X+ badass soft touch black red accented ROG phone had an abrupt encounter with the bathroom floor. Now I don't have any money for hardwarez

A very sad JR.

Congrats on your purchase.
You could have replaced the screen for about £30 I think;)

I've got the one x and I love it. Apart from the horrific battery life and it burning my hand if i play a game on it :L.

Yeah I really want to attempt that :/ £30 for a fake screen for a 1 year old phone with a degrading battery. I'm not spending money on it someone will buy it on ebay for spares for more than I could get out of it if I fixed it. I did briefly look into it and I didn't find any One X+ screens, there was a service to have it done for £110 but again too much money on an old phone.

Recently got a new PSU for my server and really quite like the RM series of Power Supplies. Also got 2 sets of dual pack Corsair Quiet edition SP120's. And finally a new 240GB Samsung EVO for my Gaming PC.
