Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

I did it unofficially through my local etailer. I have always purchased from them so know them quite well. They havent taken my money, but 100% guarantee they will hold the card for me when it arrives around the Friday the 18th.

This is the one I will be getting.

I dont care about the cooler anyway as its a temporary measure until the block comes. I have been told this is a reference design so that makes blocking from an early date promising. I know its still a stupid price to pay for a card, but I feel like its a win win for me, comparing other prices, along with the sale of my current card. And the fact that the return guarantee is pretty damn good.

You disgust me....... I Love It !!! :D

Post pics when you get it please !

Ebay. Seller has 470 positive feedback, 0 negative. Paid through Paypal, return started.

So I'm not terribly bothered tbh. He sent it RMSD, so I am sure he is covered at his end (not that I really care about that tbh).

To humour it I am going to reinstall windows to a spare SSD and see what happens, but I wouldn't say I am terribly hopeful lol.

Maybe it has too much VRAM

Ironically I suspected that immediately. However, surely if it were dodgy VRAM he would have sent it back long ago. It wasn't, BTW.

That is with the VRAM underclocked as far as it will go (about 430mhz) and it still does it.

However, he did tell me he had a NZXT AIO on it and "re padded and re tim" it. I would imagine the poor sod bought the wrong pads and has cracked the BGA.

Oh well. I sold my 2070 (WB non super) earlier and am expecting £500 next Friday so I may just do something really irresponsible.

Oh it got worse LOL.

We had the usual back and forth, with him trying to make me pay the return post. Eventually I showed him a link to Ebays policy and he rescinded. Which was good. He sent me a label, and then my brand new printer decides it can't see any paper. That took over two hours to sort out. No idea what it was.

Then I go to book a courier to send the 2070 to the guy who bought it, but he lives on one of the channel islands and thus the courier I wanted to book doesn't deliver there. So I had to book another one, which means taking the hefty parcel (there's boxes and all sorts of other stuff in it) to the post office on Monday.

I got done at 3am. That was after partially reassembling the PC which was nearly stripped due to the troubleshooting I had been doing on the broken card.

Oh well. "Mama said there'll be days like this".

I had this exact problem only a week ago, It's infuriating, You know what fixed it ? Turning it off and on a few times, Honestly 1 piece of equipment I wish the industry would make more dependable, Yes I love CPU's, GPU's, Fast storage, VR, High res/refresh rate monitors etc... but printers need some serious tech love, I nearly headbutted my desk in anger XD

Well I guess CDNs are a bit flaky, I can personally see both black late model 207s. Best of luck, from one PSA driver to another. :D
