Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Putting more than two drivers in one pair of headphones is a fad. Getting good quality headphones is the way to go. Most games target headphones for positional audio and you can run software for Dolby Atmos if that's not the case.

As an added bonus they won't suck for music.

Centurion don't suck for music. At all. The sound quality is really rather amazing.

If they weren't as good as I believe them to be I would have sent them back or sold them/given them to a friend. As I said though, they are very good. I would not want to rely on them for audio but then I have thousands of pounds worth of headphones. So I would feel that way. To your local noob though? I would say they could well be all you would need. The only thing they lack to me is volume, but that is obvious given I run amps and pre amps and god knows what else. Do bear in mind I am also half deaf from my days of competing in the car audio world lol. So I like my music very loud.

If you tweak a surround headset (if you even can, you need a high end one) then positional audio is very good. Better than any of the headsets and headphones I have, even with Atmos.

There are a few downsides though. Cable length is short and they are HUGE and heavy. So they are nowhere near as comfy for long sessions as my T5P or Grado with big cushions on. However, they are superb in FO4 and that was the reason why I bought them and shall continue to use them. So I guess in a way it's kind of like a flight yoke or steering wheel. You buy them for one game mostly, so if you don't play those games then don't bother as they really are only good at surround. Not tried them in a movie, but that's because I don't really watch movies.

2x8gb Black 3200mhz nothing much to say about it other than I will finally be able to upgrade now I have all 3 parts. Since Corsair released the newer ram which I do like the look of I did the sensible thing and went for the discounted cheaper offer mainly as ram is expensive enough as it is but I may get another 16gb kit at a later date if prices fall further really depends on if I'd ever need it.

So Monday I can have the fun of rebuilding my PC hopefully it'll go well and not BOOM :D

I can't get my BT TV package at my new flat because there's no fibre there. So it's copper for me (oh joy). I do, however, save £25 a month which is a welcome saving. My TV has no tuner, so I opted for a Freesat box instead of a Freeview (I am keeping my BT box but that will go in the bedroom as there is an aerial socket there). You can plug an external hard drive into that ^ and record with it, and I just so happen to have a 240gb external SSD that will be great for it.

Sony MDR-XB550AP at 29€, just something for walks. Let's see if Sony delivers at that price point, last time I bought inexpensive headphones I just donated them onward since they sounded so bad in comparison to my normal gear. :D

Can't exactly post of picture of my latest purchase, but another 12 months of car insurance at £476, stupidly short of cash now this month, but at least I don't need to worry about it for the next 12 months.

Way cheaper and it doesn't use a single piece of plastic on the outside! (apart from the feet, but they not a design piece)

This is my latest purchase and the reason I have not been very active recently.
She is really helping with my depression and keeping me so busy, I barely have time to turn my PC on let alone use it.
She is 9 weeks old and a cockapoo and I love her so much :)

She looks wonderful, I'd love a boxer dog as they are really daft and playful, Sadly my day job stops me from having a dog but I hope to get one in the future :)

As a fellow owner of a young spaniel cross (springador instead of cockerpoo) I wish you good luck. Frighteningly intelligent dogs that are very difficult to stay mad at because they are so gorgeous as well. She'll push the boundaries something fierce but that just makes it all the more fun. :)
