Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Been considering the D15 as my H100i has started developing a weird issue with heating up since I cleaned the machine out and summer's set in. Sodding thing blows the fans at max when the coolant reaches 40ºC and keeps going down and up like a chav revving their Corsa

Hahahahahahahahahaha :yelrotflmao:

I personally prefer huge beefy air coolers, Great performance on par with many top AIO's and the only thing that can go wrong is an easily replaceable fan :)

I wish I was joking, hahaha. I think it's a bug with Link but I refuse to go to iCue because I tried it and it was a steaming pile of... yeah. :D

I won't deny, now I've had AIOs, I can safely say I'm not going to get another one. Other than looking nice, they don't offer much better performance than a decent air cooler; so if this one does go bang, I'll be getting a D15 Chromax like yours. My next rig will need liquid cooling due to space constraints but I'll be building my own loop then.

Greg Salazar on YouTube, College graduate, Basically a scientist, Did a good video explaining that most AIO's once heat soak sets in can actually be worse than beefy air coolers like the NH-D15, If I ever move on from air cooling it will be a proper WC setup, AIO's just aren't worth it.

Same with custom cooling setups where your front intake serves as your radiator placement too.

Once things have normalised in the water, your fresh incoming air effectively goes through a hot radiator thus warming your airflow resulting in higher temps over all. Its why printed the clamps to move my rads from the front to the top.

You mean the passive aggressive little twerp who always slags people off because he doesn't like capitalism, yet is a total ho himself?

I unsubbed. I liked him at first but his know all passive aggression got on my nerves.

His content is severely lacking too. Maybe that is why he spends so much time on Craigslist looking for people to slag off.

Lian Li sent him one of those £2000+ desks and he was going to put an I3 in it

That was about enough for me.

Watched maybe a few video's of him to see what he was about and yeah he's not very entertaining, original or really engaging to watch, it's all about him that one and it puts me off big time.

Friend of mine in Germany has his rig watercooled but he has all the pipes going out of his rig and into his fairly large utility closet that is well ventilated that contains a few pumps and 480 rads, He gets crazy low temps on his loop.

I only watched that 1 video, I couldn't stop staring at his teeth, They reminded me of the Mask :D

Bought(well pre-ordered);a Pixel 4a to replace my very long in the tooth Pixel 2 XL. I'd post a picture but I don't have it yet :D

Pretty excited. My current phone is 3 years old. Battery life ain't nearly as good as it used to be. It's getting slower week by week too. It'll take 10 seconds to send off a text and that's when it's the only thing open. If I'm browsing and send a reply it'll take longer. It's gotten to the point where if I'm not connected to WiFi or Cell service and still texting people, when I reconnect to either it resends all my messages that were sent while offline.

So yeah time for an "upgrade". It's only a $350 phone. But the CPU will be noticeably faster and the GPU is probably about 10-15% slower but not a big deal. Single threaded performance is all I care about in a phone. All people do is quick bursts of load, ie opening apps, loading a page on chrome, etc.
Really excited for all day battery life again :)

You sir are in for a fantastic enjoyment! the Pixel 4 series has been one of my favourites to date. Oneplus 8/8pro take the top spot for me, but damn that pixel is a nice one.

Everybody complains about the Pixel 4 lineup having horrible battery life but I just feel like if people would stop chasing likes and followers on social media, they'd actually look up from their phone and stop using it 24/7, aka extending the battery life.

The pixel 4a I'm excited for. I'd rather get the 5 even if will end up using the 765g as it'll have more features I'd like but with my current financial situation and future plans it's 2x the money but not likely 2x as good. So I'm fine with settling. I can always upgrade next year for the 6. I still think I'll be impressed how good of a phone it will be and it's likely a steal at $350.

Not posted anything for a while so here's a bit of a consolidated list:

8 Port Gigabit switch
LAN adapters for my Switch and Wii U
HDD connector for my PS2 and SATA upgrade kit
20m of Cat7 cable and RJ45 connectors
Dremel workstation
Midnight Blue DualShock 4 controller
Flight Simulator 2020 Premium Deluxe

Long and short of it, need to learn how to crimp my own ethernet cables so I thought about putting all my consoles onto wired connection rather than wireless.

I've been absolutely bloody skint for weeks. I borrowed money (from myself) to buy the printer that cost a fortune. I was OK. Had no cash, but a week to wait before I got more and plenty to keep me busy. Then I realised I needed a pedestal for my PC and yeah, been in strap ever since.

I get that all sorted tomorrow. Then I can start buying crap :D

I might get a Herman Miller desk.. The pedestal matches it perfectly.

What will become my new NAS.

A buddy of mine bought one recently and I remembered just how beautiful they were.

It's a bit dusty but it is all there. Usually front parts get damaged etc.

Obviously this all means nothing....

As she is going under the knife. ITX and many hard drives.

£30. Seriously £30 for something that beautiful that could easily handle a nuclear strike.

I'd pay £30 just for that case as a first PC for my daughter.

Ooh, looking forward to see what you come up with. I assume you'll make a project log?
