:D snap just unpacked mine as well grabbed a couple more different juices as well to sample

Yeah they are worth having. Although I can charge them by micro USB on my mod. It's advisable to charge the batteries on a dedicated charger as it's safer and prolongs the battery life

Dice never came back to me about the Corsair PBT keyset but i just ordered them as well, having 4 chipped off keys on the k70 is just uncomfy.

And also, my fridge is like 16 years old, it was time for a new one.

Anyone been to any gigs recently? It's been hard for me recently as I live three hours away from Dublin (which is where most gigs are held) and have up until this week not been driving. Plus my illness somewhat paralysed and thwarted my social life throughout most of 2016 and 2017.

The last gig I went to was Deftones last May, which is a long time for me. So I decided to pick up a ticket for Mitski in Dublin for this September. That's a little too far away though so I'm also going to go see Jessica Lee Mayfield in April, again in Dublin.

As well as that, The Secret Sisters are playing in my town—which is a rarity as my town of Sligo isn't exactly known for its international music scene like Belfast, Galway or Cork—and I'll definitely be going to that. I only just discovered them last week, but I really like what I've heard. Plus the convenience of it being local makes it a no-brainer.

That'll be three tickets in total to three great artists (all from the States) and it'll only be about €70. Not bad really. Considering some bands/artists demand €70 for one show, I'm pleased.

Post is being delivered again!

Just had this 'Drevo Calibur' through the door, really impressed for the £35 price tag for a small, wireless mechanical keyboard.

How you find 20 keyless?
I have the corsair RGB and really miss the number pad so much I ended up buying a num pad to sit next to mine but its not nearly the same

I've not had a keyboard with a num pad for a few years now, so I think i'm just use to it.
This keyboard is going to be the base for my DIY lapboard :)

I wish we had the weather for outdoor gigs like that. That looks really cool.

Gotta love hope. Best brand for bikes in the UK imo. Still trying to find someone selling some used mono6ti brakes. Absolutely monstrous stopping power.

Their stuff is ace but it is far too expensive. The crankset I bought is also made in UK (Nottingham, using what I suspect were Raleigh's CNC machines) but cost peanuts. I mean sure, the Hope will be nicer but that bash guard cost me almost as much as the crank set and spider lol.

Still, it adds a bit of luxury and will stop me ripping my cargos when I ride.

I tell you who else is up and coming in the UK and that's Superstar.

That is where I got my pedals. Apparently they're as good as Hope pedals and cost half the spondoolies.

Dont think superstar does MTB gear though. I'll always stick with Hope if i can get them. The combat Halo wheels cost me a stupid amount of money 9 years ago. But they were absolutely indestructible in terms of downhill riding and thrashing against rock and stone.

Disappointed they stopped doing them because I wanted a set for my new Demo-8 downhill bike.

But honestly check these bad boys out. Anyone who tried them loved them.

Six pistons of serious stopping power.

Love my hope brake sets, currently running Hayes with tektro rotors though. New tyres inbound pair of rapid robs.

A couple of guys on the BMX Museum have converted their race bikes to disc. I don't see the point, TBH. You only use it to slow you and a decent V brake will take your eyeballs out if you pull it hard enough. I can totally see the point on MTB though :) I would imagine discs still work very well when wet, too.

But yeah, BMX look ridiculous with Disc brake on. Talking of which, I am going to go and fit my new carbon/tit/alu one now. I knew there was something I was supposed to be doing :D

I got the lever on yesterday.

And the bars and stem obs. I also fixed a problem with my headset. I didn't realise that GT had actually included a full 1.5" to 1 1/8 converter. I bought a Hope one.. Any way, the Hope one did not come with the very thin pinch sleeve that fits into the bearing to eliminate all wobble. I found the GT one and then cut a relief cut in it, pinched in headset is tight as a drum now :)

Got my hands on this the other day, any decent/obscure games to recommend? Other than the usual like GTA, NFS etc. Got CFW running on it to get PS1 eboots working as well
