Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Welcome to the Non-sync club :D. I went down exactly the same route with you and I've really enjoyed my 279Q thus far. Great bang for buck monitor, especially compared to the Gsync equivalent..

Hehe nice.

Mine does seem to suffer from backlight bleed though, bit of a shame when playing space games, is a bit noticeable.

Revitalised my love of miniature painting and picked up this dainty combo. Then I realised this is an awesome little tool for some PC customisation so have been toying with creating my own GPU designs.

And a nice little collection to start practising.

Noctua fans
Noctua chromax green
custom Shakmod cables

The only thing that bothers me with the Industrial fans is thay they are loud!.

The "original" Noctua fans, brown and tan color, were silent and I loved them for it.
THAT was the ONLY reason for me to pay the premium for them.

I keep them and very low speeds, and they still push enough air to keep things cool. These are 2000rpm PWM, I keep them between 500-800rpm so they make no sound. I replaced Corsair AF120/140, and i definitely hear improvement, especially at low speeds.

Look nice. Sweet cables too.

But when the PC starts though, don't they go full speed for a second?...

Well to be fair the corsair fans are overrated and nothing special:p

I thought ill show this wee thing i found on ebay. A new type of cheap leds. Its RGB led strip with remote that has no power brick like the old ones had. I got 2x20cm strips with remote for £17, for extra £1 i got magnetic 3M tape. Stick that on led strips and for under £20 you get 2 magnetic rgb strips on wire with remote and n power brick ;)
If you looks for it on ebay, look for - flexi rgb strip.

Finally after hunting around the place I got the Corsair MM300 Extended Edition, The stitched edges is a really nice touch :)

Nice! I have the previous version with the yellow edge and love it but this one looks heaps better. I can just fit my HOTAS and keyboard on it but then I run out of room for the mouse.

Now they just need to do one that just covers the whole desk!

Nice. I love the looks of the 805 but hear it's a little warm with a dual GPU build.

Looking forward to seeing how yours goes!
