If you've got no idea what you're doing then yeah you can ruin it but some time and effort and you can come up with something atleast as good. I've been thinking of painting (well, wrapping) my DT770 pros as the paint on the writing is starting to come off. It can be done quite well, especially if you wrap them.

Then again that wouldn't give me an excuse to buy a new pair of headphones..

You won't find any "better" headphones unless you insist in spending HD700 kind of money.

I'm quite tempted to get some custom DT880s. Not as fussed about the sound difference (as I'm perfectly happy sound quality wise with the 770s) but the ricer within me wants something more nice looking.

As for the 990s.. I was going to get those but then I noticed they are open back and my wife already wants my nadgers on a plate for buying open backed cans before. Shame.. I believe mine have very similar driver units though.

The classified aesthetically just didn't go with the rest of the rig seeing as the rest of the rig is all made up of Asus and Corsair so it stuck out like a sore thumb to me ^_^

So this just happened......


After me umming and arrrrr'ing for over 18 months I finally got a new laptop (was using archaic i3 Sandy Vaio) Im now packing an XPS15 with i7, DDR4 & PCIE SSD!

Seems sensible enough. I'd never buy a full price new gaming laptop any way tbh they're horrifically expensive and always a bit lame compared to desktops.
 
I tell you dude I was amazed at my crusty old laptop's CPU grunt. It's right up there with a FX 8320. Sandy, IIRC.

I bet that XPS shreds :)

I'm super jealous of this too! Been wanting the XPS15 for ages! Very nice specs too. Not something I could have afforded:p
 
XFX Fury X.

Just paid a deposit, paying the rest next week.. My rig is ready and I'm taking the plunge. Hopefully when the X2 launches shortly they'll give Crossfire a shot in the arm.
