They really come into their own in Crysis 3. There's no way to play it on a single GPU without Titan yet a pair of 670s pee on Titan and cost around 2/3.

Titan looks good but i could never see myself paying that much for it.
Went with the 670, close to 680 performance but slightly cheaper
