Foxconn Blackops X48

OK sold my waterblock and put my stock QX9650 cooler on and i took great card not to spill any water on the board.

Tryed to boot up and instead of the motherboard going through all its start up codes it goes straight to the FF code under normal operation this meens its ok,fans spin and no boot sounds from the board at all.

Ive tryed taking out the board battery/unplugging psu plug and reseting the cmos for a few hours and still nothing.

So it looks like everything is running? maybe try re-seating the graphics card thats happened to me, or you could try using a different graphics card and see if you get post.

Let me know

Bondi.

I had this too many times last year, for some reason my PSU killed my motherboards, but for me in about a few hours time the PC wont turn on at all after 10sec of "normal" operation, jusst a heads up it might be RMA time. Do the usual, pop 1 stick of RAM out, change th GPU, CPU, motherboard, PSU etc etc and try to find the dead/faulty compoenent

This may sound silly but check that the two cables from your psu are going in to the motherboard their is an 8 pin one and i think its a 20pin

just a thought :)

Also try taking different parts out

good shout, without an 8/4pin ATX12v the PC appears to work but nothing displays etc, does the foxconn board not have a LCD POST error screen?
