Please i need help...

Hi firstly i have no idea on how to water cool (i know the basics but thats about it) so its simple i want my i7 to reach 4Ghz at a decent temp (i have no idea whats a normal load temp for an i7 at that speed but i was hoping maybe around 60C) so what do i need to know is what do i need to buy to set up a Water cooling rig and how much it would cost me to get up a proper cooling set-up (i'm on a really tight budge though)... so can someone help me please?

Internal mounting of the radiator I assume?

I dont know... ummm i'm really not fussed about how loud my pc is it already sounds a bit like a Jet so as long as it louder then now but cooler and lets me hit 4Ghz... how much would it cost me roughly?

I think your biggest problem is i7 @ 4ghz not the watercooling mate.

i7 is sooooo much different to a c2d for example.

And they get very toasty aswell.

My i7 has hit 4Ghz on a V8 cooler on the Asus p6t delux (my mates) albeit the temp once hit 101 degrees and the HT was off with a high volt but i dont care i really want 4Ghz!

Not to hijack this thread, but I'm also looking to WC my processor in the near future. I've got my heart set on a drive bay res and I'm only going to be WCing the CPU and northbridge so I reckon I'll only need a 240rad.

Any suggestions as to what components I should buy would be appreciated.

Also has anyone got any experience with moving pcs with water in them?
