Please Help Freezing PC

LOL its nothing to do with monitor resolutions.

Has been fine sence december last year and started doing it not long ago.

Think its a question of

1) HDD problem

2) GFX problem (unlikely I think as fine in games)

3) CPU problem has been overclocked so wondering if it has been pushed too much

4) M/board :/ (I hope not and again think its unlikely)

RAM has been ruled out as not the cause.

CPU failures are rare. I think this sounds like a possible PSU problem. Do you have another you can test the rig with? I understand you might have to change the gfx out or similar to reduce the power if it's not as powerful as the one in there.

Freezing like this in my experience is usually the PSU or mainboard.

Ok, have now canged the PSU last night so fingers crossed this is the answer....feeling quietly confident LOL

Hi,

Well its not crashed and am very confident it was a dodgy PSU to blame my overlock is back to 4ghz and all is sweet as a nut have even been leaving machine on at night to be sure, sorry green peace, its in the name of PC's
