Can't find anything to bitch about on that. Love the CPU and especially the motherboard. I'd opt for a GTX780 instead of a pair of 770's just because of the hassle of going dual cards and dealing with compatibility issues and such. While they're pretty rare these days they're still out there and a single card us just easier and a single 780 will shred anything at 1920x1080.

No complaints on the SSD as the Sammy 840 Pro is about the best. I'd recommend a Western Digital spinning drive as I've always had good luck with them. Seagate Barracuda is fine as well, whichever is cheaper.

Outstanding power supply but you could go with a 650 watt version too and have plenty of juice.

I would suggest a different monitor. 23" screens are too short and just look small. Check out some of HP's 25" screens if they have them in your neck of the woods. Maybe look at some of the 2560x1440 27" screens as well.

Compatibility Notes
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum.

See if you can get 1.5v RAM to rid of this potential problem...

I'd go with a single GPU as well, running 1920x1080 a 770 will be great, you can always add the SLI at a later date.... Still a single 780 will be better if you can stretch that far.

If you plan on watercooling then plan on it to be very difficult in the R4. While it can be done it's not easy for a first timer.. I have one and it's just my personal opinion. Now if its an AIO such as the Corsair H100i then go for it:)

Rather that trying to buy it from different companies try and compare it from between these
PcCaseGear
Scorptec
Umart
As these three are probably the biggest online companies here is Aus.
Sounds like a nice build though

Thanks everyone for your advice, I ended up ordering everything through pccase gear, including a 27" monitor and the MSI z87-G45 with a single gtx770, and the corsair H100i everything else was unchanged. I ended up going with a white R4.

I checked the intel website on this and the model of RAM of which I purchased was listed as approved by them for my processor.
Also went with a single 770 (for now :D)

Once again thanks to everyone who posted, and thanks to OC3d for all the reviews! Can't wait till it arrives now!
