Piracy letter campaign 'nets innocents'

BT have cut my download speed down to like, 2KB/s. I have only ever downloaded a couple films illegally (hear me out mods) and that was almost two months ago. Apparently it's because they are trying to stop people downloading peer to peer and have done it to large areas. All other speeds are fine, just downloading is really slow. The only problem is my girlfriend is a media student and our housemate is a music student. It's basically creating difficulty for them trying to do their degree which is just wrong. Luckily I am doing Physics so I don't need to download much stuff from Uni :)

Which inturn affects the MW2 players like I stated in my thread about MW2 speecuts. I use P2P for other purposes rather than downloading illegal software/media, does this mean I will be cut down also?

Well my speeds are back up to normal now. It was only for about 3 days. It didn't affect me playing CoD because it knew it wasn't peer to peer downloading. Although I did notice a lot of people with bad pings over the last three days. Hopefully it won't be for much longer.
