yeap, there's gonna be a window after enforcing the side panel.

there's gonna be some sleeving , illumination and few other final touches

tiny update:

enforcing left side panel and window cut (sort of

)

I cut an aluminum panel to the desired size and stuck it on the backside of the left panel. used some 2K epoxy glue

I decided to cut the window to the same shape pattern as the grid line I sprayed

printed the pattern on 2 A4 sticker sheets and stuck it on the panel

in order to use jigsaw for the straight lines I had to make first a cut with the dremel

didn't use dremel all the way cause jigsaw is faster , easier to handle and more effective for cutting straight lines

took me an hour to finish cutting

then filing for few minutes

next step is to cut some clear acrylic and finish the "window"

I used a 1mm thick aluminum sheet. it's thick enough to add the extra strenght against warping and thin enough so that it doesn't add too much extra weight to the panel .plus it doesn't hit on the parts used for toolless hhd mounting

I tweeked my cpu today once there was a little drop at the air temperature

4ghz , 1.128V vcore , maximum temps at 53 stressed with prime for 1,5 hours

I think it's pretty good, or not?

That si, IMO A fairly good Voltage for the Overclock. Have you tried goint for something like 4.5-5.0 GHZ?

I feel no need to do that, 4ghz is just enough for me!. don't want to risk frying it up,I want to keep my cpu and mobo for few years

tiny update

downloaded the bitfenix logoand printed it on a A4 sticker



cut it with an exacto knife



stuck it on the front-panels mesh



sanded it a little with a sponge-sander and shot primer on it in order paint it.



final result









I also got a 200mm megaflow fan and changed the red LEDs with yellow ones . the ultra bright yellow leds seem to be more orange than yellow

.it's the fan set behind the bitfenix logo
