Phones are always going to be the same as Mac vs Windows, Xbox vs Playstation, Pc vs consoles. There is no one right answer as to which is better. My views, iPhone - good phone, overpriced, tons of useless apps, great time waster, worst auto correct ever (not sure why they haven't been able to fix that, I would smash my phone if it was that bad). Android phones - very gimmicky, loaded with tons of bloatware, popular, resource hungry, get very laggy over time but can be rooted if that is your thing, don't see the majority of people who use android phones rooting their phones anyway. Windows phones, good, but I can't stand how they look, same as windows 8 makes me shudder. Blackberry (I know lots of haters which Im not sure why)most secure unhackable phone out, best email system best keyboard virtual or physical, most efficient OS, no bloatware. They lost their popularity and are struggling to get it back and most likely never will become the giant they once were. Recommendations - go try a phone see what you like, looks and feel. Then when you decide make sure they have a 2 week return policy in case you hate it want to switch to something different. My wife is currently looking for a replacement phone. She doesn't like big phones so size is a requirement, other than that, she might talk 5 minutes worth a month, sends text messages and gets an occasional email, thats it. Pretty much anything would work for her and she would be happy. iPhone battery sucks and I very rarely see one out in the wild without a broken screen on it. 99% of Malware is written for Android devices so I would never go that route either. Im not an app guy, nor do I play games on my phone. I require security so I can do my banking, I need efficient email service and I need an efficient OS with no bloatware. My BB10 device does all that I need with flying colors.
