Oh yes, my rig is finally complete and i thought i'd share some pics with you guys. I apologise for some of the terrible quality images, my camera is pretty bad so i'll try and get some much better pics up some time.
Specs:
I5 2500K
Asus P8P67
Asus GTX 670 DCUii
Corsair Vengeance LP White 8GB, 1600MHz, 1.35v
Corsair H100 w/ 2x Corsair SP120 Q.E. Fans @ 12v
Fractal Design Arc Midi
Corsair AX650 w/ White Individually Braided Cables
256GB Samsung 830
500GB Seagate Barracuda
3x 140mm Bitfenix Spectre Pro White LED Fans (2 in front, 1 in rear)
30cm Bitfenix Alchemy Connect White LED Strip
First thing i did was install the case fans which was a doddle (I removed my old GPU too):
Bye bye Scythe Mugen 3, hello empty mobo:
Bye bye Mushkin Radioactive RAM too, hello Vengeance LP:
H100 installed:
The AX650 is unleashed with some lovely individually braided cables:
Mmm... Braided Cables...
Starting to look the part, but there seems to be something missing...
Ah yes, the 670. What a card!
And then my camera died
So sorry there's no pics of it fully built and running atm, but i'll put some up asap. I'll try to snap some night shots too with the LED's shining as it does look great. My camera just doesn't like to focus so i might have to buy a stand or bipod for it or something to stabilise it.
I'm extremely happy with the rig, it's super quiet, the H100 pump does make a bit of a noise but when i put my headphones on i can't hear it. The single component that has impressed me the most is the 670, Asus did an insanely good job with the cooler, i honestly can't hear the difference between 10%-100% fan speed, and it will happily sit at 10% when playing easy-to-run games and it won't break a sweat. So much better than my reference 6850, i will never buy a reference card again (unless i'm watercooling it)
