Hi guys

Im having a little rant today about a certain someone who uses this site as well as others, and has been doing a little work for me. Well, was meant to have.

Around back in October of last year I had a phase unit which was damaged and needed sorted ( http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=25241 ). I went on the hunt for someone to fix it and found someone who said they were more than willing to fix it and could easily do it no problem.

I took the unit by car to his place in portishead bristol. First of all it went well, i got some pictures, i had some feedback on sites about it and they were glad to see it getting fixed etc etc, then nothing happened.

Its gone from some work in the first week of him having it, to excuse after excuse and 7 months time and still no completed unit.

I gave him one final chance to sort it out over the last week, since a family member passed away, but once he said hed got back from that it would be fixed.

Apparently its on final load testing and nearly complete, but i have heard this for about 3 weeks now, and have been told that its on a nice base and some pics will be taken.

I havent seen anything for months.

Im seriously annoyed at how someone can just let someone else down this much, especially when Ive paid £100 for it to be fixed and not seen anything besides a bit of heat shrink being used to braid the fan.

I want answers and pictures asap, i also want my money back and the unit to be sent off to someone whos interested in buying the unit.

What hurts more is that I have told pete about needing the money as ive lost my job and i have someone interested, but this hasnt spurred any sort of answer or little boost to get it complete.

Nothing has happened. I did warn you id go public dude.....Youve had long enough and lied about so many things, ive even rang your work when you said you wasnt going to be in and they confirmed you was working that night and the night before.

I am always trying to get hold of him, speaking to him over the phone and constantly being fed lie, its hard for me to get to his place to, as I only know his place of work and its in bristol, i dont drive and have to get my father to come from somerset to wales then to bristol to get the unit.

Why do you think he is banned of 90% of pc/cooling/overclocking forums?

He's disliked by alot of people, for many differet reasons.

petes a really tidy guy, im not slagging him off in any way, ive met the guy a few times, often nealy gone out on the town with him, i cant abuse someone like that on here, im just saying, this actual issue has gone on too much and somone has to say something.

Im at the end, i dont know what do in all honesty about it as ive tried everything and given enough chances.

Im just quickly replying too this as not had a full chance too read due to bank hol weekend and just getting back of my hols. Tuesday evening without fail i shall be able to speak too you properly. If sooner the ideal but doubtfull jdue to short staffed and catching up on a lot of stuff.

However how many times have you changed your mind on this Tim?

Alos if you so in need of the cash you shouldn't of gotten the sack (or as you put it quit) for being slack.

As i said when i get some proper sit down time i shall sort this but it wont be likely till Tuesday evening i'd say

However today at 0900 i did send you a TXT asking for you address via PM, TXT or mail for the unit too go too. Come tonight 1700 i will not be able too a thing if you fail too deliver as this is the only window i have to hand due to going away and being busy with work.

I shall call at 1500 incase.

Hey guys...

As agreed with Tom about pictures please dude, Ive asked a few times.

Toms sent my addy to you, so that should all be sorted.

As said with postage and stuff too. Would like RM if pref dude as they have a depot right next to me, obv love insured etc etc with pics of how it was before sent etc etc and boxed. Just concerned about damage to unit etc. Could you get some pics of it working dude as you said it was under load testing atm.

If it arrives non working dude and there is nothing wrong with the unit caused by RM then ill be looking into having someone else fix the unit and from my own and everyone elses opinion, if work has been carried out by yourself and its faulty or dodgey, i shall be asking for a quote for it to be repaired and sending the bill your way dude. As you did say id be having it repaired and on a base etc etc fully gassed.

If sent uninsured and RM say the unit cannot be repaired or something similar and the damage was caused whilst shipping or whilst in your care, id like a full refund for my unit within 7 days. Which i think is only fair...

For the benfit of all, there has been an on going issue with TTL and my self for ages, point blank refuding to do any jobs for me etc etc and im not overaly happy with his involment in this case. There for it'll be breif as well my time here.

Tim, you failed too give me ya address or any contact today even when i tried, but TTL gave me one, i'll use that but if wrong not my fault!!

I've not long got home from work and sorted everything and had dinner thanks to my amazing gf.

The unit is done, it's going to get packed in the morning as i have breakfast and the only time i can get it picked up will be Monday due to being away.

RM will not take it, weight is too great, plus due to whats in there. DHL only but it'll be covered to £150. DHL will allow it as i have checked with them.

Tim you OW me £20 from the days i lent you money via BT too pay for 1 you BB and then you ex's or g/f again mobile bill. I shall waver that and use £20 to pay for the delivery of it.

The red section on the suction line is the bit that flexs only, i did that so you don't break it again or new onwer but only time will tell. Im just trying to help. I went with red as you kept chaning mind and it's what i had too hand at time. Hope it does the job.

If the unit arrives DOA, laked, broken its not my fault as i do not offer a warrnaty or gantree on my work. Hense reason for the insureance on the delivery of it.

Overall if your short of dosh get a job, stop being slack as i said last time and getting the sack.

Not wanting to hijack this thread, but for all to know I refused to have any envolvement with any work to do with Pete because of a massively overdue bill at wcuk and warnings from several forums AND online retailers.

Now niether me, wcuk or chilledpc will do anything for you because of your constant slandering and general bull spreading

Im not public property and do not have to take on everyones work.

Pete you were warned and you have not complied thus far with our requirements. If pictures are not posted by 00:00 hours this evening your account will be deleted and a lifetime ban served.

We appreciate the photos, but we still require load tests to proove it is functional.

If this is not done and it arrives faulty then the ban will still be enforced.

OC3D will always stand by its members when disputes arise, and if any problems are meant to have occured in transport then we will not hesitate to inform DHL of the situation.

Tom, get ya facts right. I had too push and push for an inovice off Marcus, i even had to ask on the forum for it!!!

Also Tom you have a personal issue with me so in that case your screwed as your having a direct personal intrest on this not OC3D.

Good luck with DHL as it will be me only dealing with them! It's a contract ya see.

Also nothing between me and Tim is legaly binding, as nothing writen on an agreement or siged, so 0 legal rights to ether.

With all due respect to all parties here, and just posting as a pretty regular and long standing member, although this thread - albeit out in the open - started with what are perceived to be the best of intentions, I don't feel it's doing OC3D or either/all parties to have this thread evolve into what it is at the moment.

Some things need to be in the open, other things don't.

Delete it and clear this if u like, but the start of the thread 'seems' fair enough, but it doesn't need to be turned into what it is.

As to perhaps being a matter between 2 parties and the go-between that is OC3D, and I should perhaps "shut the hell up", that's one of the downfalls of opening it to a public forum. U do that and u bring every1 into it.

I think this is going a tad OTT and people are beiong able to make a personal stab at pete.

This isnt what i wanted, and its certain not what i expected.

But, Pete, thanks for the pic of the unit, ill get it tested once its home, my apologies for the money, i completely forgot about that, but dude, no need to bring my problems into it such as work etc dude.

Thanks everyone for the input, cheers for people getting this sorted, especially TTL up to this point now, lets just see how it goes when it comes and then we'll take it from there.

Tom, i think that with your 'relation' with pete your probably not the best perrson to handle this, although we trust your judgment you could be being a little bias. Just my 2 cents..
