tekken 6 looks alright, but reviews make it sound a bit poo

borderlands - a bit repetitive?

mw2...no dedicated servers

Not really, i've played both and the only thing that's the same from the first one are two characters. It's a completely different story.

anyone else a bit disappointed by mw2?

the single player was pretty good, but short

didnt try the mp tho

i mean compared to what cod4 was

The single player is good fun but the MP is simply awesome very very addictive.

Everyone's going on about IWNET on the PC version, but it works about as well as I've ever seen a console server system work.

No. Just... No.

Matchmaking fails all the time! Game lobby closed! Unable to connect to host!

It's just very very annoying. They should have simply given us dedicated servers. I mean... how hard can it be?

It doesn't fail on live that much, I play a helluva lot and only 1 game in 20 fails like that. Sure it's not as reliable as server stuff, but then consoles don't work like that.

If your getting could not connect to host errors and game lobby closed itcould be down to the router not having upnp enabled as on the pc version my router had to be set to open as I was getting the same errors and showed my nat as strict

My NAT is always open on the 360, and it's very rarely I get disconnects. It usually migrants to a new host anyway.

My NAT is strict atm, although I've forwarded the ports it uses and I have UPnP enabled.. but I had these disconnects when my nat was still open too so yeh

It's been proven that strict NAT is the reason for the drop-outs. Sure you may still experience them when it's open, but that's likely because the idiot on the other side has theirs set to strict

If someone hosting has strict NAT then everyone experiences drop-outs and terrible connection

If anyone is on wireless for xbox live, and have wireless on a computer/laptop near them, plug a ethernet cord in and bridge the connections, I did and my speeds seem to be faster and my NAT is always open.
