Get a copy of CrystalDiskInfo and check the S.M.A.R.T data it will tell you if it's generating any errors, Read/Write errors 9/10 are due to faulty SATA cables.
You'll notice this in the "Fitness" of the drive in Speedfan, it doesn't necessarily mean the drives dying but it will record the errors and log them as fitness failure. My faulty SATA cable caused a large amount of errors and now my drive "looks" knackered but it was just the cable at fault.

Yea, so i have completely formatted my SSD computer with AHCI Mode enabled, then i left my computer over night and full formatted my WD, so now i'm going to run some scans to see the results and ill post back here. And updated my BIOS just in case.

My SSD is working 100%, but my hard drive is flashing up as bad whats wrong i just fully formatted it, how do i fix that problem?

A few bad sectors on an HDD are nothing to worry about, but 41 seems a bit high. Does this number increase quickly?
Back up your data and keep an eye on this. If the bad sector count goes up a lot in little time, your drive is on the way out. I expect this is what's happening considering the problem you described in the OP of your thread.

Thanks for all your help guys on finding the problem, but all fingers point to the Hard drive on its last legs 
Special thanks to Feronix, Wraithguard and QuietOne for helping me out alot.
Also can anyone recommend me a good 2TB hard dive for a good pirce and know not to fail on them?

WD have always had a good reputation. If you just use it for storage, you could pick up a 5400 RPM WD Green drive, otherwise maybe a Blue?
I haven't had the best of experiences with Seagate drives, personally, neither have any of my friends but that was several years ago and a lot of people seem to use them now.

those results are garbage. they used consumer drives in a professional grade environment.

As far as I can tell, this lines up perfectly fine with my own experiences with the different brands, as well as most of what I've heard from other people.
the point is that they did not use the drives for what they are intended. therefore getting pretty much invalid results

I guess that in this environment the drives would indeed die quicker than in a regular old desktop so the failure rates in their testing may be higher than in a real-world scenario.
Doesn't necessarily mean that the thing about 'which drive is generally reliable, and which isn't really?' is wrong in my opinion. If I were to buy an HDD right now, I'd probably grab a Caviar Blue, they're quick, cheap and generally pretty reliable. Personally, I'd also stay away from Seagate, just because of bad personal (or family/friends') experience and hearing bad things on the internet
Didn't WD buy Hitachi at some point, a few years back?

No problem at all it's why we come here
I'd go for WD caviar (green or blue) for storage or Toshiba, I leave Seagate well alone but that's my personal choice.
