Looks like you lot had a good night.

I was out last night and lost my wallet, wandered back to the club and some random guy was walking out with it in his hands, he had found it on the steps.

I am not sure if it had a tenner in it or not but there was nothing in it when I got it back off him but wasnt going to accuse him of anything. I think I would have gave him something anyway for just giving me it back.

The wallet was £30 alone!

Lesson learned anyway, from now on I am only carrying my bank card and ID instead of my whole wallet.

I learned that lesson after losing my wallet on the olympic ski slope 2 hours after arriving in finland. There was only two of us on the whole slope at the time and it had 400 euros in it, bank card, NI card, holiday insurance card AND my passport shoved in it. I walked all the 1.5km back up on foot in -16*C trying to find it but with no luck.

Then after getting back to the public slopes I popped into the shop there to just ask them to keep an eye out and they said 'ooh whats your name', I told them and they spoke among themselves in finnish for a bit and then said 'someone has found it on the other slope, they'll bring it over now' and some dude on a snow cat came zooming down the hill with it, with all the money and cards still in :) I used some of the money to buy him a drink obviously

I tend to carry only cash when I go out to town these days, all the doormen and bar staff know me where I tend to go so there's no need for ID.
