This build isn’t completely finished, I just got it to POST not 10 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to show someone. I still need my Crucial M4 256 SSD and an OEM copy of Windows.
First off, sorry for the crappy pictures, I don't really have anything better than my phone. Also, please ignore the cable management and the stock cpu cooler for now.
The AX850 comes with nice cables, though the 8-pin cpu power cable is much to short for this application, it doesn’t come remotely close to the header if routed behind the motherboard tray. So it's just going to have to hang there until the Bitfenix extension arrives. You'll notice the audio and front panel connections aren’t being used either, It's a black and white theme build and I can't bring myself to use that multi-colored ugliness even to test them. They are waiting for their extensions as well.
As for the cooler, it will be replaced by a WC loop shortly. I wasn't going to spend $80 on an NH-D14 to use for less than a month. The 600T will only allow up to a 45mm thick radiator before it would contact the ram. I know a lot of you believe that anything less than 60mm for a 240mm long radiator is a waste of time but I think it will look nice and keep a slightly oc'd 960 pretty cool.
Thanks to S_I_N and everyone else who answered my questions.
Corsair 600T White
EVGA SLI3
Core i7-960
EVGA GTX580 DS
Corsair Vengance "12GB"
Corsair AX850
Crucial M4 256
Samsung external BD Combo Drive
I Had to look at this slowly growing pile of boxes for like 4 months without being able to do anything with them.
I just removed the HDD cages altogether; I won't be needing them.
