This build isn’t completely finished, I just got it to POST not 10 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to show someone. I still need my Crucial M4 256 SSD and an OEM copy of Windows.

First off, sorry for the crappy pictures, I don't really have anything better than my phone. Also, please ignore the cable management and the stock cpu cooler for now.

The AX850 comes with nice cables, though the 8-pin cpu power cable is much to short for this application, it doesn’t come remotely close to the header if routed behind the motherboard tray. So it's just going to have to hang there until the Bitfenix extension arrives. You'll notice the audio and front panel connections aren’t being used either, It's a black and white theme build and I can't bring myself to use that multi-colored ugliness even to test them. They are waiting for their extensions as well.

As for the cooler, it will be replaced by a WC loop shortly. I wasn't going to spend $80 on an NH-D14 to use for less than a month. The 600T will only allow up to a 45mm thick radiator before it would contact the ram. I know a lot of you believe that anything less than 60mm for a 240mm long radiator is a waste of time but I think it will look nice and keep a slightly oc'd 960 pretty cool.

Thanks to S_I_N and everyone else who answered my questions.

Corsair 600T White

EVGA SLI3

Core i7-960

EVGA GTX580 DS

Corsair Vengance "12GB"

Corsair AX850

Crucial M4 256

Samsung external BD Combo Drive

I Had to look at this slowly growing pile of boxes for like 4 months without being able to do anything with them.

I just removed the HDD cages altogether; I won't be needing them.

Nice build mate, nice and tidy. how is the 580 DS, i was looking to get this card.

I also noticed the empty space under the 5.25 drive bays, you planning on water cooling?

Nice rig dude. White sure is popular these days

The position of the 8pin is really bad. why cant they have it up in the left corner like usuall.

Nice rig, but I am hating everyone that is posting pics of new rigs in that case... It makes me want to go buy one so bad. Might just have to give in and do it soon.

intwesting my corsair ax psu reaches over the top in my 650d which is taller... cant you atleast put it through the mobo cut out

the problem is.... not how long the AX cable is or how it is plugged in... but, it is where the 8pin CPU power socket is placed on the mobo.

the mobo is not very 'cable-management friendly'

Thanks dipzy. I can’t be sure about the DS yet, it hasn’t had to do anything but idle in BIOS. I’ll let you know.

Lookin' Good.

Are you going for a 200mm rad in the front?

Thanks sheroo. There will just be a 240 rad in the top for now, but that is why I originally removed the cages. I had considered putting a 240 rad in the front as well. It wouldn’t be difficult, it would render the lowest optical bay unusable but who needs them anyway. I might still, but it will be later.

Thanks Azurite. I’m not sure, but it’s nothing a bitfenix alchemy cable won’t fix. They are pretty sweet.

Thanks Matthias. I wasn’t going to get the 600T until they released it in white, then I felt like I had to have it. I’m happy I did though it’s turned out pretty well.

that 8-pin cable is spoiling it (extension!). other than that - nice build

It’s on its way!

Even If I were to run it right under the motherboard it would still be short.

Awesome build! I was tossing up between the 600T White case and my Haf X. The white didn't have a side window though and wouldn't support an ATX-XL board.

No dude it wasn't a typo - you can get a 200mm * 200mm rad which would be perfect for the front. Phobya do one.

Have a look at Nat's Star Wars build I think she is using one.

Haha, thanks, although i think the case was one of the cheapest parts of my build, aside from the mouse and keyboard.
