Painting a graphic card shroud?

The Epic One

has anyone ever done this? i have a couple of graphics cards and would like to piant the shrouds to match the case better. can this be done? the shrouds are made out of either steel or aluminum my guess would be steel please let me know your thoughts on it.

I don't see why you can't do it, you'll probably lose the warranty, but deffo doable. Usually the shroud is held with a couple of screws, undo them, sand prime and paint and fit it back :)

Would be helpful to know what card it is, possibly with some pictures.

Most shrouds are plastic, and yes plenty of people have done this.

Can deffo be done. As stated above, would be nice to know which cards you are talking about.
You could also plasti dip them in case you need to rma you just peel the dip off.

they are two older evga 9800 gt's i have them apart while i was cleaning them and putting on new thermal paste and pads and relized the cases where a bit scratched up i thought about the plasti dip bit want some cool graphics on them i did dip my xbox controllers in plati dip though also use it to water proof my rc electronics was thinking of doing flat black with red or white skulls
