Overclocking the 6800 Ultra

Hi all,

I'm faced with a strange problem at the moment, that is when I run my BFG 6800 at 450/1200 I get a score of 80k in Aquamark but when I overclock the card to 470/1274 I get 74k. I've got the latest drivers for my rig and fastwrites are turned off in the bios. Any ideas anyone? I know this was mentioned before but I cant remember where.

Hi ZaX,

Try turning fast writes in the bios on but in windows turn it off this helped me.

ur card is throttlin if u wish 2 bench at those speeds u must make a bios with default clocks of 470/1274 on 2d and 3d. this will slove the prob usin ths method i ad my bfg runnin at 485 / 1.35 all day long

Used Omni Extreme Edit FX to edit the bios to 470/1274 in both 2D & 3D settings and I'm on 81k in Aquamark now
