overclocking nvidia cards in vista

a lot of people have been asking me included if there is any way to overclock your graphics card in vista and up to now we could not do it until i came across this if you have a asus board there is a thing called peg link mode which will allow the board the overclock your graphics card by selecting fast i went from 450/650 to 470/670 and by selecting faster i went to 490/700

its not much but its a start

Peg link isn't the most effective way to overclock... But I didn't know it changed the Clock speeds, I thought i was something to do with the PCI-E bus speed.

Posted somewhere before on the forum theres a reg key they will enable the classic control panel!

with the classic control panel it wont let you change settings it failed every setting you put in it works if you are running xp but not vista

people have been saying this about vista for ages

Oh okay! Didn't know that!

Move back to XP until Vista takes off completely or dual boot!
