Overclocking CPU Cooler Not Noctua?

Hey guys, I asked a question about RAM the other day and got a really good response... So I thought I'd ask another question:

I want to get a good CPU cooler for my new i5 2500K rig (which I am going to overclock).... and the obvious choice is the Noctua NH-D14, but the brown colour scheme really isn't going to fit in my Storm Trooper Corsair 600T White case....

SO.... Should I go with something like a Corsair H70 (which is black but does not perform as well as the Nocuta) or another air cooler? Can you guys recommend something?

Get the D-14 then add custom fans.

The criteria they must meet is having two screw holes on each corner, not one screw hole right the way through as that won't allow the wire to secure the fan properly, as I found out with my excaliburs.

There is the new Alpenfohn K2 LINK (scroll to the bottom) I haven't seen any reviews for it but looking at the price it must have good performance to put it up against the D14.

dude we are going to tell you which is best, if you want one to suit your builds look tell us which you think is pretty and we will tell you which of those is the better one.

I meant that it was the same price as the D-14 yet the performance was not up to standard.

Not complementing the Darkrock at all. I'm saying just becuase something is in the same price bracket doesn't always gauruntee identical peformance.

True, but that Darkrock Pro is cheaper, not by much, but it is cheaper. The Alpenfohn is £10 more so i'd expect it to be just as good as the D14 but i'd still wait on reviews before buying it.

I did manage to find this vid though which says it does perform like the D14 but then again it's the manufacturer saying it, another good thing about the K2 is it looks like it has better RAM clearance than the D14.
