these guys are anoyying as hell! i dont know what happend to them in 2 years! with my previous system i got from them it was completly fine no problems i upgraded my RIG and i bought a new system from them, but the heatsink when it got here was bent and about to fall off. needed to send to back

came back to me, the motherbaord BIOS was crashing on me and i couldnt get in had to send it back

same thing again had to send it back

FANs are broken had to send it back!

PSU, BIOS CRASH, Temps reaching 105 and the buzzing sound from it, they suggested to send it back i said NO! NO NO!

im not going to send it back so you guys can replace a single thing or replace it like a 4 year old built it.

so i said i want a refund and i got it, im just sticking with my old system for now. i CBA right now

but if any of you order from them and actually got a working system then i must of got the retard bulding mine every single time!

i swear there standerds have dropped alot. no more computers from them!

Wow this is one of the worst "reviews" I have ever read, and tbh I really don't see how this makes them bad? I mean, you received a system you were not happy with, sent it back and they supplied you with a new one, you still were not happy with it so you sent it back again and got a new one and so on and so on, it just wasn't working out so you decided you wanted a refund and they gave it to you.

I have never used them though, I recommend you use Aria.co.uk

Should have built it yourself then :p
Do that in future!

As for OCUK, I personally never really use them due to their delivery charges. No royal mail option for most things, and you can only have next day delivery which is extortionate.
Try Aria in future.

Never had an issue with OCUK and slandering an ENTIRE company from a single persons experience... well that is just idiotic.

All the things you listed are common issues that happen with all retailers. Iv'e read similar things from people buying from Aria, Scan and other retailers.

Shit happens unfortunately, how they deal with the problem and how quickly they deal with it is how you should judge them, not for things that were not directly their fault.

The heatsink coming loose is obviously a problem that hapend during the handling of the package with delivery company. As for the Motherboard not working, thats the manufacturers fault but recieving a faulty mobo is one of those things that can happen, I have a dead Z77 GD65 to prove it :D

isn't funny when people only shout about things when they go wrong.
hardly ever does someone shout out that something/someone is great.

Word duggy. Ocuk have the cheapest prices on bitspower barbs in the uk I believe. I got a whack if them for about a quid cheaper each. Unreal value. To be fair their pricing is quite good. The only guys I have had trouble with In the the past was specialtech. They got me sorted eventually so it wasnt the end if the world. My mate got his rig built by ocuk and hasnt had a problem yet and this was when 1155 first came out. So its a good amount if time. Don't be afraid to try them again. Nowhere has a perfect service record

I only had really good experience with OCuk, and I will recommend them to anyone!
When I had problem with one of my 7970( it was making buzzing sounds like craaazy), they just replace it straight away , but the best thing is that they knew it that I removed the cooler and been using water block, but they told me that they will replace it anyway if I put the card together properly:)
I don't mind paying little bit more for they shipping due to good service I got from DPD, they always send you an text and email 1 hour before your parcel arrive! That nuts:)

In the end of the day they did what they could to make you happy customer, maybe you were unlucky that you were getting this faulty parts.
And really you should build YOUR OWN rig! Stop being LAZY:lol:

Guys dont flame this guy so much!

Personally I have only had good experiences with OCUK, but that was with individual parts (not an entire rig). And it would appear that that is the same for most of you on here.

This guy is obviously just showing us the bad experience he had with them building him an entire SYSTEM. I assume he just wants to know if any of you have had similar problems and that he recommends not getting them to build you your system.

Its good to know really.

In first place he should build his rig himself!! Than you don't have to blame anyone for mistakes rather than yourself.

TBF to the op. If you pay for someone to build it. It should be done properly.

Agreed. Not everyone can/wants to build their own PC, so if you buy one that is pre built it should come working!

Following all of your oh so clever sentiments about 'its your fault, you should build your own'. I bet you wouldn't say that if you bought a brand new car and it came broken.....

No no no....you guys dont get it! do you? i said if you read carefully, that my computer was sent back to me 4 times after they said they will replace it, sure fine they sent it back 4 times, but i shouldnt need to send it back four times because im not freely sat here all the time, i dont have time to wait for a computer to come and then find out it still has an issue with it.

4 times is not good enough, i shouldnt need to send it back 4 times or more if i stuck with them to get a working computer, now im super busy and i dont have time to get a computer now. be in mind i waited a month everytime i sent it back to them. WTF

I PAYED FOR THE BUILD TO BE BUILT it should arrive working

So in a nutshell then buying individual parts from OCUK maybe okay but a whole system seems to have issues when being transported or built.
Myself I build my own but I understand how frustrating it is when you get a faulty product, maybe try somewhere else?
Aria have cheap systems or decent systems depending on what you want.:)

TBH, I have had no problems with them, they are a great company, great support. Had a problem with Scan though...

Personally not had any problems with them. If I did, they would get you sorted ASAP, their customer service is awesome in my experiance.

I have bought 3 pre-builds from there before I got into building my own.

All were fine. The heatsink on the first came free of the socket (DPDs fault obviously) so I reseated it.

Also, forum members with an easily attainable amount of posts on ocuk forums get free shipping.

+1 the most annoying RMA experience I've had is with Scan and the best Overclockers. However I'll still use both companies as I put it down to
"sh*t happens". Just my opinion though.
