Tom already did a review of the reference model 980 so you should be able to make the needed deductions for the 970

Yeah its really not worth doing too much with these so late in the game from our perspective - even less when you consider only one shops sells them

Ok thanks I just thought I would ask as my Asus Strix gtx 970 has been rma'd due to coil whine which was giving me interference on my sound card when I gamed even with the Vsynch on ( I could hear an annoying buzzing sound through my Roccat Kave solid headset)

The gall of adding a premium to this reference card. I'm sceptical as to the creation of this card - sounds like a borked 980 to me. As for coil whine reduction? That should be standard on all cards!

Would love to know how one of these perform temps wise but as DC and TTL have said deductions can be made?

If you do grab one, would appreciate your thoughts on it.
