even if it doesn't, what is an £80 OS really when you win a £2k machine, not taking into account I presume the paint :o
 
How can you not take into account the paint? It towers like a Colossus of beauty in a world bestrewn with black plastic.

I hope there is an OS installed.

If there isn't I can always sell my 9600GT and buy an OS.

Now that is your solution if there isn't an OS installed.
 
There is no HDD or OS so far, we have got some more avenues we can try.

At very least the winner will be given an option to purchace them at a reduced rate and I will fit it all set it all up before shipping the prize out.
 
I think the no OS is a good idea TBH because it means you don't have to worry changing stuff for it, as your system will work on it. Glad its only a GTX280 too as for Quad SLi you need Vista and Vista is crap so its another save by Tom ;)

Wow what a competition & I have entered as my last GOOD PC had the motherboard melted by a dodgy temporary Q-TEC PSU :mad:As week after week myself built PC started slowly dying on me :-(

Wife promised me the funds 4 new kit & even though I managed to get most of the money together myself Xmas soon came as I knew it would:(.

I am 2 embarrassed to even tell you what PC I use but it won't play games & I bought it from a mate for just £20 so that I can at least get on the net :rolleyes:

Oh I know it's a week late but Happy New Year all
 
One thing you guys need to realise is this kit comes with 6mb of ram, so you need a 64bit OS......

Im an XP fanboy but not an XP 64 fan, lets hope windows 7 isnt too long!

I also have to disagree. I'm using Vista 64-bit on my main rig for more than a year now and also using Vista 32-bit on my HTPC for more than 5 months now and I'm VERY satisifed with BOTH Operating systems. :)

I think that Vista really matured in the past year or so...though I'm sure Windows 7 will be better...much better...;)

Anyway...BACK TO TOPIC! :cool:

Ok I get your point guys it wasn't mean't to be a sob story just pointing out that It would a Dream PC to win & I would love it 2 be me
